  1. What ive noticed is its more low end, littte more responsive on the throttle, even when just revving it.
  2. Omg thats fucked up in so many ways lol how the fuck do these people come up with this shit.
  3. Another +1 on the VF4s i like em, overall good power, good response and some nice bottom end snap.
  4. Possibly a dumb question in a sense but im just trying to look out for my dad.Im getting new pipes and was going to sell my tr-6s to my dad for pretty cheap, which isnt together yet but will be a fresh rebuild bottom and top, problem is his bike will be all stock except that it will be bored .020 over and have Vitos SuperStock pistons which is almost the same as having ported jugs, I know that the tr-6s are meant for mostly stock banshees with no porting mainly. Im curious if this would really be anything to worry about running those pipes and pistons together or if it wouldnt really be much of an issue. The bike will remain stock like that for a while he wont be modding it out or anything. I just wanna look out for him incase it would be a really shitty combo and hold the engine back some and that he would be better off getting some used t-5s off here for maybe just a little extra cash then what i want. Im thinking most likely it should be fine but id rather get some opinions and such on this since im unsure, specially since ive never even heard of people running even like trail ported banshees and tr-6s together or anything. thanks.
  5. I think they were intended to keep fuel around the jet during that brief moment when you were to hit a jump and all the fuel in the bowl would go to the top, i dont think they are needed really...
  6. Yea be careful listening to this guy, he acts like he does suspension for a living or something...
  7. I wouldnt bother buying a newer set of pipes when i can get a good set used on here. Yea i guess it would be pretty simple to bend the piping just wanted to get some thoughts on doing so since i couldnt find any info on anybody else doing it. Still not sure how to go about it, definitely not wanting to cut and reweld id really like to get away with just heating and bending, but ive had no experience with having to do this to a pipe before also.
  8. I believe its the older design, its the ones tecate is selling on here. Ive seen them on others banshees and they sit way to low id want to try and move them up tighter against frame. Im kind of surprised i couldnt find any info on this, i figured somebody else has done this before since it would look alot better.
  9. Im doing mine in blue/red and i really like it so far, various different parts are blue or red.
  10. Yea the 2 into 1 silencer ,well i have tr-6s now but im trying to decide if i want 916s if i get them the only way ill be satisfied with the look is if i can that silencer moved up for a more clean look, just not sure how to go about it and how hard it would be.
  11. Just trying to get this idea straight in my head...i want to get DMC 916s because they sound great and is one of the best pipes for my riding. Problem is i think the silencer looks dumb as hell, if i could somehow move the silencer to where it mounted up alot closer to the grab bar and didnt hang down so low i think i could deal with the look, i would even be fine with removing the tail light and putting two small round tail lights to the left and right of it. Curious if anybody has experience with altering pipes and bending them, if it would be fairly easy or if it wouldnt work very well. Between me and my dad we can do a decent bit of metal work but i was hoping maybe 1 or 2 bends in the right place would do it, just heat and bend. Id rather not cut and re-weld if i dont have to but we could, also hoping this would not change the characteristics of the pipe such minimal bends like that i doubt it would but ive never done it before, thanks for any input.
  12. Klotz supertechniplate
  13. Lmao thats funny, i love the sound and they are the perfect pipe for my riding but i just cant get over the look, the silencer is ugly as hell specially how it hangs down low like it does it just looks out of place.
  14. I would probably buy these if it wasnt for the looks of the silencer...never been a fan of the look of them coming together, im sold on 2 separate silencers but its so tempting...
  15. Hell ive always been interested in doing this as well.
  16. Ah damn alright ill look more closely, the keyswitch side could be 2 or 4, but the harness side is always 2? faaack.
  17. TTT!!
  18. Another +1 for awesome seller, got the parts fast and in good shape, even through in some extra stuff.
  19. Yea true, and i have heard that Moose makes a decent unit but its also 270 bucks.
  20. Hmm 110 bucks...its still way too soon to say if they are worth a shit or not probably.
  21. So banshee started running retarded so I started testing shit and my assumption was correct it ended up being the stator, the pick up coil ohms was barely under min required. I also noticed my charging coil reading was like 27 or something and stock range is only like 17-20 so I figured it was a high output. Curious if anybody can identify this stator, its also got an extra wire on the harness curious what's it for. My other concern is whether or not I should just try to buy a new pickup coil for it since another good stator is pricey as hell and hard to find or if I should buy like the moose unit or try and find a good used? Thanks
  22. Im looking for a flywheel in good shape, not rusted to hell, good magnet, threads and overall shape. Also need a good stator...might buy one if it isn't too old and tests out good, thanks.
  23. Ttt need a 2 wire.
