  1. Yeah that's way I expect most people use em
  2. does anyone get there plugs? I usually just throw plugs in from the box, but I know some people gap their plugs. what is the benefit? what gap should I use? I run race gas in my 4mil dunner.
  3. Got my motor back together last night, now i just gotta slam it in the frame and i am ready to sit in the back seat of a ford truck for 20hours!!!!! Cant wait!
  4. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! yeah, its my signature move, keep pushing it off untill i have to stay up all night before a riding trip, i better get started right now since itll probably take me 3 days to figure out how to get the chain tight. Looking forward to the trip for sure, not looking forward to a full 40hr round trip drive.
  5. This shit totally snuck up on me, my motor is in 350 pieces on the bench damnit!
  6. You bet your ass i will be there you glassy eyed drunk fuck! Make sure you bring your butt buddies tyson and hot carl with you again this year, dont want you to get lonely in your tent.
  7. Couple weeks ago my magnetic drain plug magnet let go and got sucked up into my trans, and as a result it smashed a bunch of teeth on the grears and the forward shift fork shaft pushed out the stator side of the case, then my buddy knocked the other one out when he was "helping" me get the rear shaft out. The shafts arent supposed to slide all the way thru the case right? They just slide in from the clutch side and stop with the little "c" clip right? I am assuming that my trans oil will seap out if i dont plug the stator side ends when i put it back together, so what do i do? can i buy replacment plugs? should i fill it with epoxy? leave it alone?
  8. Holy shit that is badass!! Props to Jeff!
  9. Think i might be interested in the cut trans, i will txt you.
  10. I will call redline too, quick turn around will be necessary, summer is half over already
  11. Yeah, i guess that will do... thanks Shayne
  12. C'mon Shayne, ask a whole bunch of questions and you give me just 10 words? Share your knowledge brotha! Ive come to see that WCR is the trans of choice for alot of people on BHQ. I guess the real mystery for me is how does the lockup affect the trans? Is it necessary? would it be stupid to run the override without a lockup, or would i not benefit from the lockup enough to make a difference?
  13. So my transmission brought me to a grinding/clunking/skidding stop friday night while ripping up a field. I havent pulled it out yet, but i can see the rear shif fork shaft has pushed itself out the shifter side of the motor, so i am assuming (almost hoping) that the damage will require replacement (upgrade). My questions are, is a duneable override the right trans for my riding, who cuts the best one, where can i buy it, does it have to be paired with lockup, does one style lockup work better with duneables? I know a few months back people were having major problems engaging multiple gears at once and shit like that, is that all cleared up? Its a 4mm long rod, 18cc domes, race gas motor and 80% of my riding is as Silverlake sand dunes dune riding with alot of drag racing, 10% wide open UP hauling ass trails/fields, 5% tighter woods/tight flat track, 5% putzing my lazy ass around the yard to the lake.
  14. Yeah, you are right Shayne, douglas blue label 10X6 is what i am looking for, anybody got some?
  15. Looking for some front wheels in nice condition to mount my dune fronts on. I would prefer them to be without tires and be the wider offset style with .125" wall (i think thats blue label for douglas right?) Anybody have some they arent using? PM me.
  16. Got some rear 10x9 .125" rims for sale. One is in real good shape, the other has a pretty big dent and scratches. Never ran em but I bet with a little hammering you could get it to hold air. $20 + the ride .
  17. Haha, yep right at 12 hours Ottawa to Union MI, almost 700miles... you got that no problem!
  18. I will take those fronts off your hands

  22. Thanks for the info guys. I would like to do some drifting and that stuff, I will have to ride on my driveway for like 20ft then down/up a really steep grass/mud/snow hill. Pasi, do you need special tools to install those style studs?
  23. Looks like I found some rears anybody got fronts?
  24. So the lake is frozen solid... but theres no snow to ride my sled. So I figure ill stud these extra tires I have for some lake riding fun... should I use the sharpe top screws? Or snowmobile studs? I would like to still be able to drift and powerslide a little... is there a pattern I should use for inserting them?
  25. Looking for some straight stock (or just stock size) rims so I can mount my ice tires on. Anybody got some taking up space in their shop
