hey mike, SELL ME THAT FRONT END! why keep it when you dont even have a swinger. Come on buddy, you know how bad i need that stuff, my bike is like trying to ride a pogo stick :shoothead: -
Scary how fast life can turn around on you. My heart goes out to ya bro, like JD said anything we can do to help.

Yeah I have heard some good stuff about wicked arms. Doing some searching on ebay I saw some from ASR and Full Flight, anyone know about these? The full flights are selling as a combo with elka piggybacks for 1000$ and non res for 850$, deal or no deal?

I am envious of the way my buddy's banshee rides with his +2+1 arms and works dual rates. I want to upgrade mine, what should I know? What brands are good, which are junk? How much did you spend? Whats a good deal?

I got a nice one from cascade (i think) and it made all the difference in the world for those all day riding trips. usually by the end of the day i was using my palm to hit the throttle, no good, now with my extended thumb throttle i can feather that throttle all day with no fatigue. get one!

Ok, been searching for a while now and every thread seems to go on a wild tangent away from the nitty gritty of HOW TO install these items. I know different style pancake bearings have different adjustments, etc.. My setup has a washer, bearing washer, screw and housing. Ill try and get pics up, but my photobucket is jacked right now. It would be fantastic to have a tutorial stuck on this site so all of the questions can end lol... I know someone has to be a pro at all styles of pancake bearings, so please try and help me out. Tryin to get this motor in the chassis today, this is the last thing I have to do! Please discuss procedures and anything beneficial to the install of these items. Thanks guys!! -JD

I am in the market for a new axel, mine is bent. I was looking at the g-forces, but from what i can tell, they dont come with hubs. can i just reuse my stock wheel, brake rotor, and sprocket hubs? Who here runs these and what do you think about them?
-
I thought about PC on them except I work at a fab shop and we do PC and when we mess up we burn it off in an oven that is only 750 deg for only a few hours, so i dont think PC will hold up as long as the high temp paint would. Thanks for your tips, i think im going to bead blast them at work on monday, clean em nice with acetone like wayfast said and paint em with some high temp from autozone.

I am thinking about repainting my header pipes, and i need some tips. How should I prep them, i am thinking shot blasting to remove the old paint and rust spots. Then some type of high temp paint, what kind should i use?

I had a similar problem with mine, and i went crazy with dif jetting combos, needle positions, air screw adjustments.. and nothing. Finally swapped the CDI box with my buddy's and bingo! just had super weak spark, just enough to burn at idle and min throttle. I would also suggest checking your spark strength. -
The problem is, any bigger than 32s and you will HAVE to trim the fenders. The entire opening on the zr2s is only 33" and you have to leave space for the width of the tire when you turn. I love my ATs, i do 80% of my driving on pavement and the wear is unbeatable, and with the Bilstein the ride is nice and preforms well in the trails.

I have a 2000 Blazer ZR2, same set up as you 2"X2" and i run 32" BFG All Terrains and love em. Very nice in gravel sand and snow, OK in the mud. I kept them on my stock rims for the correct backspace. check out ZR2usa.com its a nice forum for anything zr2.

How many inches of Ice is safe?
Damnit Bob replied to 87sheerips's topic in General Banshee Discussion
hahahah, u guys are crackin me up! Well, we found out last night that 3" of Ice holds two banshees no problem. Yea, we couldnt wait to test it out first hand. Ill wait for 6" to slap the chisels on tho! -
Yeah I checked it with a compression gauge, left side was about 110 right was only 95 psi. Im running 260 mains and stock 25 pilots, i have 270s and 27.5s in my toolbox but once it starts it runs fairly well. I know i could get away with doing it super cheap, but i think i would rather just do it the right way and save some headaches later. I think i may be able find 300$ in the couch cushions Generally what is the next piston size after a virgin bore?
-
I need to get my cylinders machined for a top end rebuild, and was wondering who's gone where, who should i avoid, how much can i expect to pay?? I need any and all advice. I live in the SW corner of MI about 10 miles from the IN border, so anywhere close is obviously preferred. Thanks.
-
Im guessing that I am probably going to need a bore, the compression in my right cylinder is only about 95psi. Other than the machining that i need, i will also need what?? pistons, rings, gaskets... what else?

whos got a swing arm chain guide they arent using? how about a case saver?
