yea they are good beaters , but I think I might go lt250r or the 250r trike. I had a honda atc 70cc as a first atv when i was wee high but I'm leaning towards the suzuki, hell for 1000 I could buy both so I will do that. Then again I would LOVE to see my buddies faces when I tell them to meet me in the trails and I pull up on a zilla

I am having a problem similar to alot of HQ members...I have a nice banshee and I want a beater quad. I found another shee for $1000 I think it's a '96. A 85 250r trike for $500 needs nothing, a 87? lt250r for $500 needs top end but runs pretty good, and an 89 Zilla 500 for 1100 real clean. I really want something different so I think I'll pass on another banshee. The zilla wouldn't work cuz I'm sure my shee is just as fast, and I'm already 20 quad lengths in front of my buddies on the trails anyways. I ride with a bunch of pussies who have 400's kfk400 z400 trx400 so I dont need one with break away speed. so what do you guys think... I will be trail riding open field riding and on the gravelish unpaved country roads

I would get the 250r since you always wanted one. If you dont want it, there are plenty of people who will take it off your hands...those things sell fast. I always wanted one too.

Would an exhaust crack at the mount be causing my shee to seem cold on one side? The cracked side ran good before rebuild but I didnt know it was cracked I must have done it while polishing them. The crack is letting out a lil premix sludge. But when Idleing the she smokes more and has more pressure coming from the uncracked side's silencer. The cracked side sounds like popping and some strokes shoot out a long poof of exhaust and and some dont. everytime it pops, more exhaust comes out on the craked side. When I raise idle or get on it..shee blows even smoke. the other side runs like a champ it's not an oil seal leak, I will do a leak down test but I doubt that. I retorqued my base nuts after running her a while. I just gotta retorque the head...maybe that'll work any idea's carbs are synced, would that head pipe crack cause it to pop? anybody wit similar experience?

Yea make sure you got all the tors connections unplugged. I think it's one on the throttle assembly. and that the tors screw is drilled in far enough to raise the slide, make sure carb choke tube is hooked up to carbs, make sure the slide with the 2 cutouts on the top is on the choke carb, and make sure you didnt swap your carb bowls,

It should fall out right after the ball, but you say you welded your ball just take the clutch assembly off and tilt the motor sideways.. it isn't held in by anything but try a skinny magnet

When I kick the bike even when it's in netral the sprocket moves. I just rebuild the bottom. It started off great but then when I adjusted the clutch everything went wrong ...but mainly when the bike is running the front sprocket is turning while it's in neutral.. whats my problem??

Just ran through the motor like a $2 whore took off her top and gave her some new panties what are some tips before starting and tips to help start?

I broke the tab on the lock washer when I was pushing it back over the nut that holds the clutch boss on.. is it good to run until I get a new one from the stealership...the stealership is in another county I locktite the nut on and a small portion of the tab is still hanging but the nut is on there real good with an air wrench
