your not looking at the same engines to base your comparison. like dave says, but i didn't want to go into detail, because i was headed to work, you have to look at the same engine in 1 and 2 cylinder. they would have to have the same bore/stroke ratio, same induction, without any sort of balancing device. th closest comparison i can give you would be like a f1 engine vs. a 4 banger. never mind the power difference, but when set up the same, the v8 will have a longer pwer curve, than the 4 cylinder. you also can't compare 2 different types of machines, because your fuckin up the hp/weight ratio. that's like pitting a r6 against a rmk, not even a plausable comparison. any motor can be tuned for what you need, but strictly stayin on subject, i stick to my previous post.
