  1. I'd go with the kenda bear klaws, or itp vampires for coal region. the vampires are a bit heavier, though
  2. x2, usps is pretty much the only way to go up here. they use ups, dhl, fed ex to ship distances anyways, and parcel post is the difference between $45 and $7 for the same item with the others.
  3. oh shit, i thaught it was australia, for some reason :shoothead:
  4. i had conventional when i got it, and it slushed at 15 below, and ran hot. i was going to try engine ice, but it doesn't go cold enough, so i stuck to what has always worked for me. dexcool transfers heat better than conventional, i know it holds past 60 below from experience, and it was the engine grounds that cause the gaskets to errode, which can happen with anything other than strait water
  5. are you shitting me? i only run dexcool. you cannot mix with conventional, and you have to change it every 5 years, but i've never had a problem concerning any cooling system running it. elc, however, is garbage. if you've ever run dexcool through your fingers, you'd swear it was oil.
  6. check your grounds, look anywhere you did anything near electrical, follow the harness where it runs along the pipe/stinger. then ohm your plug caps, and coil
  7. how do those cages perform? anyone know about the ptr head? i have a used one that i'm waiting on o-rings for. cooling isn't a big issue for me
  8. x2, heylz 2 da naw brotha. I wouldn't want to try to read a post written in spanish, so why would i want ebonics?
  9. i got a pair of stock cages with boysen 2 stage reeds for $10 off ebay. good find bro
  10. which carb did you change? what kind of smoke is coming out? check the choke tube between the carbs, and make sure the slides are in right
  11. then it's probably loading up with fuel because of the float needle. is it all stock?
  12. at work is where i was referring to the thousands of dollars of cost from incorrect readings, especially testing anyting with a winding, but you can just subtract the base reading from the test reading. most meters i've seen around come out of the box with the <.2, and i belive thats the case with 90% of people on this site. it could be that underwriters hold a higher standard for products sold in the us, than other countries
  13. i would start with a fresh battery, and a chunk of wire, instead of the leads, to see what it reads. if your equipment is not kept in check, it could cost several thousand dollars in consequence
  14. did he say anything about the oil ratio for that tank of gas? if he's wanting to run it rich on oil, then he should've adjusted the carbs for you. put some new plugs first, then adjust your airscrews untill it reaches the highest rpm's. the little screws at the front shifter side of the carbs. turn them in untill it stops, then back out 1.5 turns and adjust from there, while it's warmed up
  15. yah it's the breather lines, the other one should go in at the water pump cover
  16. oh, lol, i see. they usually read .1-.2, but i calibrated the one at work to read between 0.00-0.01 while i was changing the fuses. i always knew it was b/s when they said it couldn't be done
  17. you can use the stock light pigtails. yellow for high and green for low. wire them on the bench, then plug them in. i just mounted little bullet lightd to the side of the light mounts. check it out <--- i have pics on the last page
  18. 0.01 ohm is a short. 1ohm is 3 times the resistance it should have unless it's a high output. fluke is the best, but i haven't used one that doesn't measure hundredths, even the clip-on my electrician friend uses
  19. i don't think spelling is as much the issue, as paying attention to what the fcuk you're righteeng
  20. wtf?!?!?!
  21. hmm.. how much do they weigh? are they cracked? u said fifty would work? half the shipping? pm me
  22. did you mean turn them out? in=richer did you have your needle 4th clip from the top or bottom? what's the smallest size you have, other than the 200? drop your needle a few clips leaner, (tward the blunt end) put the 310's in, unless you have 300's, set the airscrew at 1.5, and warm it up. adjust the airscrew in or out, 1/4 turn at a time, allowing 10-20 seconds for the idle to adjust, untill it idle the highest. ride around for a couple min, and you may have to go 1/4 turn in or out after that. being rich on the idle circut will effect the needle for a few seconds, untill the engine has a chance to clean up
  23. u might wanna include that next time, like ".....j/k" someone might take you seriously, believe it or not. there are several new members every day
