  1. Good deal if I needed it. Tank looks to be in very good condition along with cap and mount. Bump for you.
  2. I would bet $5,500.00 LOL, Craigslist at its finest...
  3. sounds Normal to me.
  4. +2 On that. That's why I finally broke down and spent 2K on 3 Elka's. Give my 50 year old body a freakin break before it really breaks, lol.
  5. Hey Bball, I just bought the Tor's eliminator kit myself and got rid of those funky clunky boxes on top of the carbs. I got everything I needed from Jeff over at fast. He is a site sponsor. The TORS eliminator kit I bought from him came with the idle screws, a drill bit, and a tap. Jeff also sells the crossober tube. Be very careful and take it very slow when drilling and tapping the carbs. Also when drilling keep the drill bit wet with a light oil like 3 in 1 oil. One of the members on this site had an excellent idea of sticking a broom handle through the carb so that when you are drill you don't hit the other side of the carbs. Also make sure you clean the carbs super good once your done drilling and tapping. You will want to get all of the metal shavings out of the carbs. Also make sure the chuck on your drill does not wobble with the drill bit in it. This will make the hole bigger than the actual size of the drill bit and some of the members who did the TORS eliminator on there carbs where saying that the idle screws fit kinda loose once they where all done. That is because when they tapped the drilled holes they didn't cut the threads very deep because the hole was already over sized by a xunt hair. So seriously make sure your chuck don't wobble.
  6. Adam, That's going to be Sick alright. Damn I hope Nobody judges a book by it's cover (Pardon the Pun) when they think there going to blow the doors off your bike, Hahahahaaa. What a Hoot... Zilla, I Love that cover. I was looking at those too. Something about the Mod Quad. You can see the quality about it. And I Love the Aluminum color. DAMN, $90.00 What a Steal........
  7. I agree with you. I like the mod quad better too. And it would match my quad better. I'll get some pictures of my bike after I get it back together. I'm pretty much going through the whole thing bolt by bolt getting it ready for the season. Jeff's got my cylinder's and they are on there way back to me. He did a .020 bore on them and putting weisco pro lites back in it.
  8. Oh wow, Notes taken on that. What do you guy's think of this cover ? I think it looks pretty good/cool. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MODQUAD-STATOR-COVER-SMOKE-W-FLAME-GUARD-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-/390388239023?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5ae4f3caaf So this one might leak ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-YFZ350-RZ350-Banshee-Trinity-Billet-See-Thru-Stator-Cover-Polished-Red-/350504173269?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item519bad3ed5
  9. Yea Adam, I was one of the respondies in that thread wanting one. Maybe I should just hold off and see if he can get something to happen. Are you getting one ? or already have one ?
  10. I agree with everyone saying to do it yourself. Heck I started doing all the work on my motor and now I have a very nice tool set. Compliments of not forking the money over to someone else to fix it.
  11. Thank You Adam and Zilla, No I don't have 10 million dollars. And Yes I just have a typical banshee. I'm going to try and make my sig showing my mods. I'm still kinda new as you can tell so I don't know all the ins and outs of how things work on this forum quite yet. I'm sure I will become good though because I finally figured out The Banshee is my favorite Hobby. I think the stator cover does look good but really I want a stator cover with a lexan clear cover so it looks like I can continue looking in that direction.
  12. Hey Guy's, I would like to purchase a clear lexan stator cover to match the clear lexan clutch cover I recently bought. As I was doing my reserch I came across 2 that I liked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First One being this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-YFZ350-RZ350-Banshee-Trinity-Billet-See-Thru-Stator-Cover-Polished-Red-/350504173269?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item519bad3ed5 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Second One being this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MODQUAD-STATOR-COVER-SMOKE-W-FLAME-GUARD-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-/300659614388?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4600b5a2b4 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Then I came across this one and it mentioned bearing support. It sounds great but it would not have a lexan clear lens cover. But then I started thinking what's more important. So here is the one that threw a monkey wrench into my thought process. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-3-piece-Stator-Cover-Bearing-Support-no-polish-/250887956166?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a6a1666c6 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ So I ask you Guy's, which one should I get or would you get and why?
  13. what hp2000 said. 14/41 If your going to make a change, always change your sprockets in sets. If you put a new front on put a new back on.
  14. I like a 13 tooth up front and 41 tooth in the rear. IMO the Banshee is already plenty fast enough and I mostly do trail riding myself. I wanted more low end torque with the ability to put put slow without throttling the clutch. It worked out real well and I don't plan on changing back to the stock set up. I think I lost a total of maybe 5 mph top speed.
  15. I will, And I'm sure I will think of something between now and tomorrow evening.
  16. I cleaned my pipes last night. I used this stuff called Copper Brite. It comes in a 16 oz bottle. Just follow the directions on the bottle. Pipes took me about 1 hour to clean and turned out great. IMO much easier than the steel wool method which I have done before. I don't remember where we bought it but I know we didn't buy it to clean exhaust pipes, lol. I was trying all kinds of household chemicals last night until I tried this Copper Brite stuff and I looked at the sponge and wholla it had that black tarnish on it heavily and for the little bit of elbow grease I put into it I know what to use next time again.
  17. Hey Guy's, I bought a set of Elka stage 2 piggybacks with compression for the fronts and a stage 3 piggyback with compression for the rear for my Banshee a couple of day's ago from this guy. He discounted the 3 shocks $185.00 below retail and through in a T-Shirt. I was turned onto him from another Banshee owner that I know that lives local to me. The guy used to run a Yamaha Dealership. The guy knows everything about Banshees, he's also a Flexx Handlebar sales rep. So If you all are still interested in Elka shocks tell him Paul from Virginia recommended him and that you desire a decent discount to boot. Elka's got a 3 week backlog right now and it's not even riding season so get your order in ASAP. Good Luck you all. 18. lol, and mine came off unscathed. I just ran a quick thin bead of blue rtv on the case and reinstalled the old gasket but I did buy a gasket just in case. So now I have a spare water pump gasket.
  19. I'd Like one of those myself. Preferably a New One. You would think the Sponsors would offer Sales on Group Purchases more often but I've noticed they don't.
  20. I'm glad I saw this thread guy's. My radiator on my Banshee doesn't leak but it doesn't look good either. It looks like it could take a dump and start leaking at any time. Anyway they now have quite a variety of aluminum radiators on eBay, all New. I saw the prices ranging between $63.00 - $400.00. This is the one I ordered today. $99.00 and Free Shipping. Drastic difference for an OEM one from Yamaha. http://www.ebay.com/itm/260900163556?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
  21. Mike is right about replacing the gasket. Sorry I forgot about that. I think that was like $4.00 Just saying Clymer's manual states if your replacing the seal to replace the bearing. Of course everything is your call. I wanted the added insurance.
  22. Williard, I purchased a Nice looking Brand new aluminum radiator on eBay today for $99.00 They have some even cheaper than this Brand New Anywhere from $63.00 to a touch over $400.00 This is the one I got. http://www.ebay.com/itm/260900163556?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
  23. I ordered a 2" Rox Riser off of Amazon. I'm just waiting for it at this point. Once I get it and size things up I will respond back with comments. Thanks guys for all your comments and suggestions.
  24. I just did this last night to my Banshee. I went from the stock platic oem impeller to a High flow billet impeller. I replaced the nylon gear, the seal, the bearing, and the impeller. Prices I paid per item Impeller $70.00, Seal $14.90, Bearing $12.29, Nylon gear $9.09, Everything Grand Total $116.23 1 F.A.S.T.
