Nice, Good Information Zilla ! That I believe answered the question. I could have my Silver Cover painted White but honestly it looks good Silver. When I get my Bike back all together I will post a picture with the new plastics and put it on this thread. Thanks Again Zilla !

Unless someone can show me a Stock oem White Radiator cover then this is good Information for anyone. I bought all New White Plastics from my local Yamaha Dealer and when I opened the Radiator Wrapping it was Silver. I will stick with the Silver One unless there is a White One because honestly it looks very good with my chrome Radiator. Thanks Amstall

Thanks for the Help but no 2004 they did not have a white radiator cover and none of the pictures show a white cover but it did say not all colors are shown. I really don't think Yamaha ever made a White Radiator Cover.
-
Do any of you know if Yamaha ever made the Plastic piece that covers the Radiator in the color WHITE. I really need to know. And if they did What year Banshee was it.l Thanks !!!
-
Larry, You would pay $563.05 for all white plastics. I forgot to say though that the radiator cover I got was silver. You go to this website below for the pricing, add everything to the cart that you want. Then print out your cart contents. Take the printout to your local Yamaha dealer and they will pricematch your list. You pay the lower costs, everything get's shipped to your local dealer for free. They call you and you go pick it up. I do this for all my Banshee parts too. http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ In this website go to oem parts and look at the plastics. 30% off retail. Add everything to the cart and take to your local dealer and they will pricematch.

Yes, This is the total that I paid for 3 of the 5 pieces of plastics. The only 2 pieces I did not get because I do not need it because of my Clark oversize tank was what Yamaha calls the Cover Side 1 and Cover Side 2. Here is a breakdown of what I paid and what your typical walk in Yamaha dealership is going to charge you. 5 pieces of Plastic Item Description Dealership Cost What I paid All Parts if I wanted them all _______________________________________________________________________ Cover side 1 $ 27.54 $ Didn't get $ 19.28 Cover side 2 $ 27.54 $ Didn't get $ 19.28 Front Fender $ 251.67 $ 176.17 $ 176.17 Rear Fender $ 283.20 $ 194.24 $ 194.24 Panel Front (Radiator) $ 181.81 $ 127.27 $ 127.27 ____________________________________________________________ Totals (Before Tax) $ 771.76 $ 497.68 $ 536.24 Grand Total 5% TAX $810.35 $ 522.56 $ 563.05 ____________________________________________________________ NOTES: I bought all white plastics except for the Radiator cover which was silver. There is up to a $100.00 price differential being more than what I paid depending on what colors you desire. Any more questions Fire Away. Oh, Almost forgot There is ZERO shipping charges because it's all Yamaha. So the total I showed you are what you and in my case Me Paid. Hope this covers it. I'm in the middle of Rebuilding my Carburetors which I have not done since I got it used 4 years ago. Man they are filthy inside. Another NOTE: Disassemble and Clean your Carbs real good once in awhile. Damn This got all mumble jumbled. You can figure out what I'm saying though. I didn't know this would happen but I guess it's not a spreadsheet like Microsoft Word. Once Again 5 pieces of plastic make up the Banshee. For the three pieces I got cost me a Total After Tax of $522.56 If I wanted them all would have cost me After Tax $563.05 Typical Dealer will charge you after Tax $810.35

Yamaha Dealership, I just got all new plastics for my Banshee. I got the fenders in 3 weeks and the no other yamaha dealerships in the US had a white radiator cover so that had to come from Japan and that took 5 weeks.

Thanks for the reply, Wow, I'm glad I havn't put the carbs back on yet and glad I read this post. I will flip the reeds back tomorrow, Thanks !

My neighbor bought a Raptor 700 two years ago. I walk his Raptor all the time, and I can tell it upsets him, lol. I paid 3K for my Banshee used He paid 7.4K for his Raptor New. His top speed is 70 MPH. Somtimes I'll just get up to 70 with him and then just nail it and walk by him, not real fast but all the time, lol. I probably got a top speed of 72 or 73.
-
I went ahead and flipped the reeds. Stayed up all night working on the Banshee. I knew I was off work today so what the Hay. Putting the Carb's on now. These things are easy once youve stripped one down to the frame and put it all back together, fun too.

That's what I did, bought a 2" Billet Rox Riser. The Bike feels great, and looks awesome. Got it on Amazon. Something like $75.00 shipped.

Hi Guys, I have my topend apart getting redone. My Boyeson reeds have been in the Banshee for 1 1/2 years. They look good, No chipping, Cracking, and seal good. They have never been flipped over. Question, Should I flip them over and if so Do you flip both the carbon fiber piece and the clear piece or what ? Thank You !

They may have worked out the Bugs in it. I would call Trail Tech and mention my story to them. They will remember and ask if the bugs are worked out of it.
-
My wife bought me one for Christmas because sometime last year I mearly mentioned that it would be cool to have for the Banshee. If was a surprise on Christmas morning to see that she bought it for me but then I started reading all the stuff you had to do and that half of them don't work right anyway. And One guy took his Banshee to Trail Tech because he couldn't get it to work right and Trail Tech tried to get it to work to the extent of trying two more new ones right out of the boxes and still couldn't get something to work. They ended up giving the guy his money back and that was all I needed to read. I sent the thing back for a full refund and got something else instead. So I literally did not even take it out of the Box.

I've changed my mind again. I'm going HD in the back. They don't sell a 21" HD for the front so I'm indecisive on the fronts still. Either the XCR or GNCC for the front. I'll see what you all think.
-
It doesn't look like ITP sells Holeshot HD's size being 21x7-10. Holeshot XC's sell 21x7-10 and are also a 6 ply tire. I just think my banshee looks a little weird with 20'"s in the back and a 22"s in the front. The front tire with this combination looks overly tall. I think I might go with the Holeshot GNCC's 21" All around. Anyone run GNCC's 21" all four tires ?

Beautiful, Well at least the Bike belongs in the hands of someone who cares now. you will get it right, just take your time even if you just work on the bike maybe 2 to 3 hours a day until your happy. That's what I do and I find it a fun hobby maintaining and riding.
-
I agree with Sandman, Get the cylinders bored, honed, chamfered, trail port job, and some weisco piston and rings and it really will be good to go. For your friend who is still learning how to ride, you all picked one of the most aggressive, quickest, atv's already. I mean after you do what I said above get a decent set of pipes on there and re - jet accordingly and the Bike will scream. You kinda worry me with "tore his carbs apart", and "throwing a stroker crank in it", these items take patience, knowledge, and no how (experience) to work on. Get a Clymers manual on the Banshee and start reading up. It's a great paperback Service, Repair, maintenance, manual that cost's about $28.00 You will gain so much knowledge by reading it. That's my two cents... I'm just trying to save you a shit load of money because throwin a stroker crank in is $$$ right in itself.
-
Hey Thanks for the link. Wow, That tire does look aggressive, You really would go for another set tomorrow if you needed tires again ?
-
Hey Zilla, Would you point me in the right direction to get a set of those Holeshot HD's if you dont mind. I need a set. Also what would you suggest for the front ? Thanks!
-
That and $7.00 for shipping $24.99 yep cheap enough.
-
What do you need to do to go Serval ? What do you need to buy ? What kind of money are we looking at to go serval from your basic .20 bored stock cylinders ? Any links to parts as to what you need ?

It doesn't sound like the previous owner did anything jetting wise. The Banshee comes stock with 200 mains and a 25 pilot. My Bike is setup very similiar to yours, i.e. same pipes, +4 timing, K&N performance air filter, and its ported. I'm running 260 mains which I do plan to bump to 280 mains and right now a 25 pilot which I plan on bumping to a 27.5 pilot. I don't know if not having the choke tube attached makes the Banshee run any richer but it would seem if your bike pulls real hard through all the gears on wot that it is running richer because the jetting is stock. Do like the previous advisor suggested with your air screws, connect your choke tube, and definately rejet to at least a 260 main and 27.5 pilot.
