Everything looks good...plugs have a lil color on my jet tests ...i won't run one rich I would rather be nuetral to lean then rich... I can't stand oil build ups around pipes and having to clean a bike out everytime it sits....you could haul mine to the track after its sit a couple weeks starts first crank good crisp throttle response...to me its the way it should be ran...parts may not last 10years but when I pull it apart it looks like new...i run 50:1 pre mix... I can back timing down to +4 and maybe ride it for a lil longer period but its a track bike to me so it sees lil run time...i had b7es when I had the plugs rattle loose on me..i went to b8s up a size on mains and started the Av fuel its been good since...i keep a temp laser gun with me at the tracks...if I run 1pass it gets up to 160 degrees couple weeks back I took top eliminator and ran 3 passes hot lapped it got up to 210 I was told by my old fuel guy that Av fuel had retarder additive for planes and elevation I don't know if its true..

Care to explain...my motor has 195ish comp and +7time...i run Av gas 100octane because its cheap $5.12 per gallon...i been mixing it 70/30 with 93 pump gas to make it go farther...i can't tell any difference power wise but I'm not knocking plugs loose anymore from detonation on 93 only... i only run drag track or a climb and park ...no longer then couple mins matt

10ft 520 non oring industrial type $20 from mining machinery with more tensile strength then most on the market I just don't know the wear on sprockets but most the drag guys here use em.. I would say on a bike that sees alot of ride time its probly hard on sprockets since it doesn't wear as much -

satchel....lol yea man I have almost always launch in 1st gear so I normally gear as high as I can... I run a 16/ 40 41 42 most of the time with 20 inch tires if I run 22 inch tires I swap to a 15 if you have one of the older banshees with the 4bolt sprocket hub then run 15/38 instead of 16/41 I was always told that 3 teeth on the rear sprocket was really close to 1 tooth in front....down sizes in back goes up in front size -

if your absolutely killing the tires on top end get tires...if your spinning and once your moving its hooking fine then gear and pipes...i picked up almost a 1/2 second on a ported 350 by swapping to cpi's from t5's at the track with a trail bike...if the added power makes you spin alot more then gear it higher i ran a 13/40 on my 4mill trail shee and launched in 3rd in loose sand with knobbys all it did was spin ...put a 16 tooth on the front launch in 1st and it spins about 3 feet and hooks great plus im not shifting as much in the same distance...if it ever gets a condition were its super dry and spins bad agin ill skoot my ass up to get weight off the tires and come out in 2nd with the same gear.. its always worked for me but might not for others -

to me it wouldnt be worth the costs for new paddles unless you were just setting there spinning... pipes would help the most ....14 or 15 launch in 2nd a ported 450r with a dasa and big cam no airbox will make 60hp and put most of it to the ground especially in a trail type environment -
I'll have to check cascades site out...i trail rode one with the long bars the front mounts bolt to cut out and it vibrated a lil but held up for a couple years punishment..i guess there wouldn't be any point cutting it to the ragged edge and still have a 50lb swingarm and axle

how much for plastic?? -
i know there has been sleds going 9's for years....if a 250hp rice rocket could do it then a big hopper triple or a 20mill dmx or carical on alky/nitro should be close to that.... might not be but a 1pass wonder but there is guys out there that just need that 1 pass to satisfy there self...it would be nice but i would be tickled with a solid 10 pass...lol
-
that is what i had in mind...whats the wieght on this and would it hold up on a extreme duner??
-
all the stuff i cut or replaced on a full drag frame...but i dont wanna cut that much for a hillclimber i dont think
-
yea i was 100% rigid frame and with out a good front alignment mine was scarey on the big end when i let out it started darting back and forth.. Wes aint no dummy...im sure he will have safety if he has top dollar parts and aint a cut and welded at the muffler shop type setup like i have seen before at my local track ... that 20mill should haul the mail,,it should make big ass numbers on alky
-
I plan on doing the same this winter...im gonna cut the fat piece on the bottom under the staring stem bearing and put just a piece of chromoly..and my othe question is what's the lightest you can get a stock frame banshee on coiled shocks no shaws...?
