are they running 22inch tires??? well i mean if i build a new 10 cub then i might aswell do a dm or a atleast go bigger then a 10....i honestly dont think we got anything for you all there becuase i got a buddy running a 7supercub i think and hes a top 3 or 4 in vet class and open....you must really take king of hill alot then...i mean 9 outta 10 climbs that year we were faster then the bikes was.... does my jetting sound way off....last time i had a banshee i had lectrons on alky.....elev is 800ft

yea thats what im saying,,,its been a while.... my old 500 made 105 hp 85 tq on race gas...i finished 3nd in every climb that year what i can put together is everyone around here are still running mr501 tires...and tyler i dont figure that you could hook up on a 20 tire or 501's ....so at the most i think there running maybe a 4mill cheetahs p/v or maybe 7 mill tripple port stock cyls...thats what i hear through the grapevine anyways. but i dont wanna jump in the rest of this season and go for 1st..i wanna throw a set of cylinders on with what i got for now...then when winter comes and start of next season ill go 10 or bigger...but for now it looks like servals would be more what i need if there even close to a cub but i can get outta the gas to maybe dodge a rock or wash out spot...but i dont wanna get out ran by stockers with port work on flat ground either...lol i think my bike is weak as water right now with a 370 ported motor 35 pwks and shearers...its got a 14 41 gear and +4 swinger and on our test hill it hooks good out the gate in 2nd then bang 3nd and it just bogs...1st time i have ran shearers are they more top end curve then cpi's??theres not a diference in it and a cub curve right now to me...its hard to run 6th gear down the road with out clutching a few times to get in the power....its like its way fat but not...its got a 155 main 48 pilot +5 timing 18 domes 185psi 50/50 mix fuel...does this add up??? matt

our ama hills in ky ohio wv are long speed hills...we ran our nationals at redwing one year and it was about the same as most of the other hills ..i ran the same circuit as johnny curry who now runs the 10mill cub alum frame cr.....copperhead ridgehillclimbs has some youtube vids as far as trail hills alot of ruts n rocks .most old natural gas pipelines that stretched dirt bikes rut out all weekend....i had a cr 540 400ex hybrid that i climbed with all the torque to handle obstacles ....it just didnt have the speed for competition ...it was around the period the cubs were coming on in hillclimbing...i finished overall 3nd and not 1 banshee in the top 5...all 500s me being the only honda the rest being zilla's....i dont know if any of you guys ever seen the heavos 7 dvd (i think) with the redwing hillclimb scene...there was a yellow lt250 with a chrome 500 w/ snailpipe...that bike has won 6 years in a row in open class in our district ...same guy also has a 250r frame 580 ktm that dominates 4stroke class.....i got vids somwhere around the house on a dvd...my 500 was on this forum at 1 time... thing is right now i wanna trail ride a couple times a season not nothing hardcore just open roads mostly...but if i see sumpthin with a crowd around a bunch of dirtbike young guys i wanna show em that they cant run with the quads on a hill.... ill go big over the winter but i wanna use my crank i got right now for the time being....i had a 421 cub drag motor and it wasnt enuff for drag for me but trails would have been a diff story.... i need a good lock out as well....but i just been out so long that i didnt know servals existed....and there not a price difference really.... matt

got a 4mill stock cyl..wanna buy a cub but been outta the game a while..wich is better?? i know all roads lead to a 10 mill or bigger but right now im just needing to get on the board while working on a chassis setup and tires the rest of this season..i got 35pwk..fasthead..shearer inframes..duneable trans.. +4 swinger..ama wont let us run paddles so right now majority runs 501ohtsu.. i trail ride 10% maybe just to a climb spot for testing.. matt

what have you got??? my bike is a mx bike and i don't fly so well..lol plus i am a 2 stroke man all the way i recently moved a little farther out in the sticks i guess you would say...its hill climb central...12 or 15 old pipelines that mostly stretched dirt bikes hit..u get the occasional bone stock trail quads and razrs that don't make it and roll to the bottoms..lol i am looking for something i can ride a few miles in the hills to get to a climb or a small ride on holidays in frame CPI's shearers...stretched swinger.cub or at least ported looks aren't a huge thing i can do my own polishing and paint my bike could use tires and a aftermarket filter...

i got a efi 450R full system fmf w/ fuel tuner...nerfs..pro tuned suspension..motor rebuilt last year w/ cyl worx cylinder 12:1 vertex piston new timming chain and drop in hot rod crank....19 tires on back 21 front 15tooth front gear...well taken care of sold my cub a couple years ago went and got this and got the whole trail ride thing outta my system...now i wanna go fast agin...im wanting somthing on shocks w/ duneble cut trans....i use to ama hillclimb w/ a trx 500r hybrid and i would like to try it agin with a shee im open to any offers drag or hill msg bak for pics....i value my bike around $4500 thanx matt

its a 2007 suzuki gsxr 1000 yellow in color 7400 miles on it... everything is perfect except left side body and rear rim is slightly bent...... if anyone knows some one looking for parts or wants to make a drag chassis and needs a 170whp motor with fuel injection... ill let the hole bike go for $2000 with no title for parts only....or ill sell complete motor with everything to run it...pipe throttle bodies harness for $1500 or best offer...can start engine right now and runs fine any offers appreciated.... msg me thanx matt

i got the cylinders off thats how i was reading what the rod says .so you say if it says 121 thats the standard 110mm rod ..not the 115mm rod ?

just bought a banshee and the guy said it was a 4 mill stroke 5 mill long rod id like to make sure the rods say hot rods on one said and ck 121 if anyone can tell me what size crank that is from that little bit of info it would be a big help thanks

hey if you are interested and still have your bike,,i would like to give you a trade???? i have a 2000 421 cub banshee full drag..115hp 62flbs....ran 3.90's 300ft and 6.0's-6.2's in the 1/8 pics is on the swap and trade forum under trade 421cub for crotch bike..... it has for drag only..... 421 cub cyl ported by Jim at sand toys.... noss head with 18.5cc alky domes..with 185lbs of comp on each side duneble 1-5 trans with neutral all the way down like a 300 Honda lock out clutch with new clutches and over sized side cover to accommodate the lock out 38/40 dennis packard lectron carbs on alky but can be switched back to gas if wanted... drag frame stretched out ion the front around 14+ over....swingarm is duneable +10 pro wedges in the rear with no runs on them...Hoosiers for asphalt also on rims plastic is painted wet black with prizmatique gliter blew into the clear on the paint for a sparkle look that changes from green to purple to silver now if you want to dune ride the bike or trail ride...all that is needed is a frame and a arms and shocks ..which wouldn't be more the $300 on eBay..and you would have a sick dune bike...the trans is made special so that you can shift like a stock trans,,up shift or down shift at any speed with out the clutch with a warrentee from wcr racing....also the swingarm is a hd dune swingarm for no linkage setup for dune riding..i never swapped it out for a light one.... i got a fortune in the bike but i bought a crashed 07 gsxr 1000 and im looking for a bike to drag only and 1 to ride everyday.... please msg me back im very intereted..i live in WV 25671 ill meet ya more then 1/2 way... let me know what we need to make this work if interetsed thank you matt marcum 304 752 2241 -

everything on bike is new except the cases..they are from a 2000 banshee..... 421 cub ported by jim at sandtoyz...wcr duneable 1-5 trans,,,38/40 dennis packard lectrons on alky.... direct drive lock out clutch and solid cover...cpi small bore oof pipes..brasnd new wedges and new front 17" front smoothies...frame is +12 rigid....swingarm is +10 with chromoly wheelie bar pm for pics... like to trade for gsxr 650-750-1000...r1-r6 or any bike like these matt

pro wedges are lighter and hook better and are a 10th faster in some cases...... 20 inch tires on dirt are a waste of time......i can take a bone stock banshee with wedges and strap the suspension down solid and run 5.50's through 300ft dirt...... with toomey pipes and clamp on filters without shocks and the same setup is 5.0's 4.99's..i have found best that stock bikes run better with a 16/41 and launch in 1st with your bike you need wedges...strap the shocks down until the bikes solid 16/41 gearing..launch in 1st..+7 timing on race gas and if you can shift good enough set on the tank and run 4.70's easy also your timing should be on 7....make a world of difference i had a play ported 4 mill on race gas with timing on 7 grr pipes...stock frame strutted with wheelie bar and ran a couple 4.39's matt

well the guy traded the 500 polaris off already...it was a 2001 500 ho...he traded it for a 2004 polaris 400 4x4 and he kept the bigger wheels and tires..........ill ask them if they want to trade it if your still interested in the newwer model 400???? matt
