not necesarly(sp) i have t6s on a real aggresive drag porting and they hit hard and run strong. it all depends on how you have it jetted and modded. if u can find the right person to port and knows what there doing then they can port to your pipes so it doesnt even matter what kinda pipes you have. t6s are badass even bfore the porting and way better after the porting

i have a nice set of 34 mm d slides just needs cable adjusters for the tops of the carbs and a throttle cable and youll be set to go.(the tors eliminator cable works) im looking to get around 250 obo or trade for 28s or 30 mms with pods. it has stock pilots(i beleave) and 340 mains in them. i tried them out and i dont think there good for what i need them for(i do alot of hill climbing and trail riding to much carb right now for me) or if you have a real nice set of stock sized pods with pre filters id be willing to take a partial trade and cash for these. you can pm me or text me at 309-256-0478. my internet is real slow and wont upload my picture of them to photo bucket so i can send pics of the carbs thru text or email. thanks

my buddy has one on his. he swears by it cuz most of the hills we climb you dont have a run or much of a run. but he said his pipe helps out alot and he is crazy as hell on that thing and will almost hang with mine.lol

^^sounds like the pickup coil wire got snagged. i had the pickup coil bolts back out before and ended up trashing the coil had to get a new one. did a bogging then nothing

my future color scheme is gun metal grey frame black a arms/swinger and the yamaha blue plastics with blue hubs and a few misc billet goodies. the wifes bike is blue on blue.lol

i think they might need to be cleaned out but they would only start on choke and would stay high in the rpms so might also be an air leak somewhere. there off a 440 snow mobile but have been told from sererval people they will work with the right jetting. anyone welse had this problem? thanks

if your slides are sticking then it could be the good ol tors system. id remove it right now just so you dont have any future headaches from it. good luck man

2300 is still a good amount of money. you can get stock a arms that r good all day long for less then 200 shipped. i baught a arms,tie rods, spindles,and shocks for 140 shipped from someone on here one time. you just gotta look. so u sell the blaster for 2000 just to get rid of it quick give 1500 to ur parents and you have 500 to play with. not to hard man these days its about sacrafices

thats the problem right there. alot of people are laid off and if they were to buy it for that much and then find out it needs a good amount of work compared to a different quad for around the same price and it didnt need anything they would be alittle upset(same as you or anyone else on here would be). times are tuff now and 2800 is alot of money people would problem shot someone for that much cash that they got ripped off of. so just sell the blaster and fix up the shee and the rest help your parents out.

im sure that most hot rods have the name "Hot Rods" stampd on the side of the rod. and as far as telling if its a 4mil or 5mil you gotta measure how long it is. hope this helps

thats the same ive heard. you can hold it WOT forever as long as you got proper jetting and your bowls dont run dry. and as for bliking the throttle after pinning it i do the same just rev it a few short times

had a bad problem with this as well. might be a different one compared to yours though. the yellow wire from the harness to the stator was rubbing up against the exhaust stinger and melted so it would short out. workd fine one minute then the next they stopped. thaught i blew my stator.

not unless you get someone who can port to your pipe like my cylinders are. my t6s pull strong and it runs good as shit with a custom drag play porting

change the gear oil a couple times and the carbs prob have water in them. doesnt take much water in the carb to not start
