  5. im getting the emails about 2 or 3 hours late. better late than never though lol.
  6. what kind of tires are those? that was a badass jump over the last hill lol.
  7. haul ass and lean forward lol
  8. i wouldnt ride paddles on anything but sand, especially hard pack. you might wanna try some pro wedge II's. they will be ok in sand and hard pack. they may be the best of both worlds.
  9. i use a 8" grinder/buffer from harbour freight. not sure on the hp. it does the job well though.
  10. swap plug wires and see if the problem moves to the other side
  11. i had an oem rod break too. i guess its junk too huh?........
  12. thanks man!
  13. i wired mine in on the hot wire feeding the headlight switch. the installation is pretty easy also. heres a good deal on a vapor http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=129369&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  14. i feel for ay man. i got my banshee on christmas day and let my brother ride it on dec 27th ( my bday) and he pinned it wfo for about 10mins on the highway and blew it up. seized a piston and broke a rod. he didnt pay me a dime! my parents paid for it since he was still living at home at the time. but at least i did get a 4mill crank out of the deal lol. to this day though i wouldnt even let him ride my bicycle if i had one!!!
  15. bump for some good questions. i want to pc my pipe on the tri-z and im interested in how well non hi-temp powder will hold up.
  16. wiseco does make some of vitos pistons, not sure if they make em all though. ive always heard that wiseco was the best. the only way to cut corners is to go with anything else imo.
  17. done a plug chop yet? measure the carb opening on the intake side to find out the carb size.
  18. part #4011. wiseco 795 series pistons are the only pistons i know of that work with a long rod crank. why dont you want wiseco's?
  19. x3 on the zoopseal. its pricey but they claim it'll last for up to 2 years. once i get a few other things done im gonna try it out. its about $100.
  20. are those pipes red? thats badass!!!!
  21. no i didnt have any clearance problems with the gas cap. and i wired mine in with the hot wire feeding the light switch. ive had no problems with any interference but ive read many posts from guys that did have this problem. some guys fixed this problem by using resistor plugs. b8res instead of b8es. i use standard b8es with no problems. the only issue you will have by running it off the stator is that when the rpm's are low like at idle the backlights will be dim similar to the way your headlights do. i like bigmatts idea of 2 9v batteries.
  22. polishing is addictive. youll wind up polishing every aluminum part on your banshee lol. i started "experimenting" on my tri-z and now ill probably have every aluminum part polished on it. Blewbyu, what kind of sealer do you use? ive been told to use zoopseal but i havent bought any yet.
