  1. thx for the input
  2. Pm'd Ya about swinger
  3. Just as title says I would like to buy a+4 swingarm either style PM me with what you got I am in Bend Oregon.
  4. Ok so im going to buy a +4 swingarm, Ive heard i want to get a roundhouse swingarm, I am assuming Im going to need a new bearing carrier to make this work? If so generally how much is it to buy the carrier and how much work is it to swap the axle into the new carrier?
  5. the less air you have the less fuel you need to be entering your bike so you are going to lean it out check your jets and go 2 to 3 sizes to be safe and plug check it after you run it there you may need to lean it out more...I ride only the oregon coast dunes and have it jetted for over there and it only runs a little fat at the 3500 feet i live in.
  6. I also know that if that 87 octane was not ethanol free it might cause a similar problem, ethanol runs so much hotter than regular gas. I melted several pistons in my R b/c of the ethanol, might want to consider that into your equation.
  7. Rode there quite a bit i prefer winchester bay and florence over it but compred to coos bay itll be alot of fun IMO. but it is not like beach sand it is really dirty...
  8. ask my 250r what happens when you run gas with even 10% ethanol and dont majorly jet up... Melted piston that led to a melted crank bearing, Advice: do not run it unless you dont mind your bike bogging through all the power, runs terribly hot and power is terrible.
  9. A cooler motor tends to run better, but alot of the power of a head comes from the dome size, if you are running a stock size dome it will cool your motor alot better but might only give min imal results to power, with that said if you were to change your dome size and higher compression you should get a increase of power...and with that being said lol your power might have acost in the fuel department b/c if you get to greedy with compression you generally should run higher octane fuel.
  10. Im @ 3500 feet and i run 40:1 golden spectro in my shee and 40:1 redline in my 250r and have no problems at all 20:1 is really thick with the oil depending on what oil you use.
  11. Is it a Air leak or a fuel leak? If it is a air leak look at the air boots and near the crossover tube and make sure they are in good shape, that would make some sense to me if you are tuning it to get it to run right it night be leaning you out, hence youn adjusting it to run fatter but casuing ti to run bad? I hope im making sense...
  12. Sounds like the clutch is slipping pretty bad is there some play in the clutch lever when its is supposedly engaged or is it really tight?
  13. Oregon Coast is 93 Dbs I have a $175 ticket that says so lol
  14. LOL!!! they can call us fags all they want but I have yet to see a legitimate reason for anything being better than a Banshee...
  15. ODI Rogues +1, Money well spent.
  16. Out of curiousity what do your grills normally run price wise?
  17. For the bars all I run is the V bars most comfortable feel I've found, But wiht handle bars it is all about preference, considering you like to jump a shorter rise on the bars might let you get balanced easier so the V bars might be what you want b/c they are pretty tall.
  18. Not going to make a new thread for my introduction, ill just let you know im looking at everything on this site deciding on my next move with my banshee, I can tell you its a different beast then my R.
