  1. cant believe chris is selling his bike. hopefully he'll find a shee for it. it'd be a great trade for a mostly stock shee.
  2. thanks for the offers guys but i think i already struck a deal. ill let you know if anything changes
  3. ive had quite a bit of experience with fusion. the only way to do it is go back with the same color because it is almost guarenteed to chip unless you ride in sand or where theres no mud. i did my trx250r fronts to the best of my ability with the same color then i cleared over that really heavy and they actually held up for a while. then i rode in some heavy mud and the extra weight cuased an ass load of cracks. i did a half ass job on the rear and the crap pressure washed right off. the only thing good about it is there are a lot of colors to choose from but thats it imo
  4. man that looks sweet. you have a lot more patience than me. cant wait to see it all finished up
  5. i was rockin purple and yellow too i actually used some stuff that i painted my frame and everything with called rust seal from kbs paints. the stuff is really tough and it is pretty flexible. if had it out in the mud twice and pressure washed both times and not a chip or crack, check it out http://www.kbs-coatings.com/. this stuff isnt meant for plastic but i was just messing around and put some on another plastic piece i had from another quad. i was amazed at how smooth it layed down and then i bent it as much as i could by hand and i couldnt hurt it. it is amazing paint for all types of metal too
  6. well i just recently finished painting my plastics and would like some decals to give her some more character. ive looked on ebay and most of what i find are complete graphic kits which i dont like. im just looking for something more simple and somewhat stock looking. i know some of you can make stickers so let me know what you got. i do a lot of trail riding so shee gets pretty dirty and power washed a lot so i need them to be really tough. travis
  7. yeah its awesome. how longs it gonna last tho?
  8. 352 hp. could that be right? imagine that on a street bike
  9. yep i hear ya. im going back to klotz. thanks for the replies guys. so then which klotz would you recommend?
  10. check this thing out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/banshee-hay...%3A1|240%3A1318
  11. i also need a stock crossover tube
  12. well i used to use klotz at 40:1 when i first got my shee. then i found this repsol stuff and it was only $7.50 a quart compared to over $13 a quart for klotz. never fouled the first plug with klotz and now that ive swithched ive fouled about 4, and im still mixing at 40:1. i know there are other factors that could be causing this but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if its something else im missing or just coincidence. anyway im gonna switch back to klotz then i should know for sure
  13. if you have the two wires for the kill switch together then thats why it wont start. even without a key switch or kill switch you should be able to get it to run (barring any other problems).
  14. i need a set of intakes for 33mm carbs and also some good air filters for them k&n or uni or any other good ones
  15. yep excellent seller ive bought several things from him. he goes the extra mile for ya
  16. heres my frame after i shot it
  17. rust seal paint is the only exception ive found to powder coating. ive tried a lot of different paint and this stuff is by far the best. i use a pneumatic spray gun to paint with it but you can actually brush it on and the brush strokes go away and it dries as smooth as glass. it is extremely hard to scratch if you do it right. they actually use this stuff to coat gas tanks and stuff. check it out http://www.kbs-coatings.com/
  18. that is a sweet shee. what kinda cylinder head costs 2k? not that i dont believe it but thats nuts
  19. good luk lemme know how it comes out
  20. just finished a rebuild myself. shee ate a rod bearing last time out so i went ahead and stripped it and painted everything while i was rebuilding.
  21. the guy that had mine before me put brighter bulbs in (not sure what bulbs they were) and the extra heat melted the headlight cover a bit in the middle. just something to watch out for
  22. yeah the guy was pretty much a jerkoff but i wanted a banshee so i went for it. he told me the key was +7 then i checked the receipts he gave me and sure enough it is. anyway you think im better off to go back to stock timing before i ride again since i dont think ill be able to get any 110 before then? i know the mods sound like overkill but i am really shocked at how good this thing runs. it does lack a tad of bottom end but not as bad as you might think, then on top it really runs out good.
  23. that looks sweet dune pirate. i wish i rode a lot of dunes so i could keep mine clean but i take what i can get here in IN. well here she is all done even with one ride and one pressure wash on her
  24. yeah i hear ya there. it isnt the 2 into 1 setup either. i bought the quad that way thats why its like that. i am currentyl talking to another member about swapping for some smaller carbs. i understand what your saying but this thing runs really good as it is. ive only had it a couple months so its still a work in progress but im gonna ride it as i make improvements. if you think thats bad youd really like the boost bottle and reed spacers i already got rid of. the guy that had it before liked overkill i guess
