  1. Does your friend like to inhale keyboard cleaner or whippets? ..At least you knew it wasn't haha
  2. Would your wife be interested in a set of so-cal fatty pipes with powercore2 silencers (not possitive but 90% sure). I'll pay shipping both ways.
  3. Redskin that was killed. Some people do more than just work on banshees and explore the bhq. jk
  4. There auctioning off Sean Taylor's banshee on ebay along with his other vehicles. I thought it was kind of odd because the sellar has 0 feedback and has never sold anything before. My shop near my house actually sold the banshee to him and they told me he would ride it in school parking lots because he didn't have any land. . Just thought you guys might be interested. Not sure if the link will work but - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Redskin-Sea...A1%7C240%3A1318
  5. I'm considering going with a 2into1 setup for my banshee since I only ride trails and am wondering how much I could get for my stock carbs and the switch assembly (where you sync them). I also have a k&n filter, outerwear's, and the adapter if you'd be interested in them. I don't have prices because If i don't get about half of what I need to by the setup i probably wont sell. No pic's but I will personally clean the carbs before i send. Thanks
  6. From the pages I saw you got some sick pictures man. Definitely some of the coolest banshees ive ever seen.
  7. I'm looking for a nice pair of exhaust clamps that aren't the stock rubber/screw kind. I'm just wondering where to find the cheapest pair basically because I dont think you can manufacture exhaust clamps wrong.
  8. Does my manual say to put 50/50 water/coolant mix in my reservoir and my bottle says never mix with water. Guy at shop said it'd work fine. Would I have hurt my banshee if i put 100% coolant in?
  9. I have a z400 and a banshee and my z400 definitely handles better in the woods. I do think it is kinda cool though if my shee ran good in woods and trails so i'm slowly getting parts here and there to make it better. I wouldn't go out and get all that stuff done to your banshee without riding a 450 with the mods and see if you can notice the difference and its worth putting all those mods on your shee.
  10. Thanks but i'm looking for someone thats actually tried this before.
  11. If thats all there is to it then why did does the tors removal thread say to do more than that? http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=65674&st=0 .. There ya go sorry if u cant click it to activate it.
  12. I see a lot of people complaining when its high and I dont hear shit when its low. Thats the only thing that gets to me.
  13. I posted on the general banshee thread not thinking about the suspension section so I apologize for a double post. Just like the title says I wanna chop 2 inches off my swingarm and I know atleast a few guys have done this so all i'm asking for is advice and tips you have and what you think the best place to cut is. I know not to cut between the frame and the shock mount so that doesn't leave much room to remove but any advice can help. Just trying not to spend 200$ on a swingarm that may not be as strong off ebay. Let me know what you think. Thanks
  14. Cool I didn't really think about in too much detail because I'm not good with very exact measurements I just know that a few people around came away satisfied with there work and I hope they wanna share it  .
  15. I was wondering if theres any specific spot on your swingarm that is the best to remove to shorten it. A teacher at my monroe tech school from welding told me he would shorten my swingarm and weld it for me. I was wondering whats a good idea on length (-1, 1.5, or 2) also. I need to know where to cut because if I have that measurement he offered to do everything else. So pretty much i'm wondering if it matters where you cut it as long as its between the shock mount and frame mount and doesn't cut off any chain guides or guards. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
  16. I think i'm gonna do a rebuild pretty soon. I'm gonna go with a aggressive trail port and rebuild when I get around to tearing my shee apart . So I guess when I do that I'll clean the carbs and probably have to change the jets. What else do you guys think I should go over when I rebuild?
  17. I was wondering what timing plate you guys think is the most affordable and best to get. I don't think theres one really better than the other but just making sure there's any brands to steer clear of. Also the screws I have in my left case are old and strip very easy so I was wondering if you guys know where to get any stronger ones specifically for that case? Thanks
  18. Yea I'm running 32:1. I guess I'm just used to it smoking a shitload till it warms up haha. Hopefully its spot on. I'll do a plug chop when I get a chance.
  19. I've been tuned fine since I got my banshee and now after me riding it for a while after it warms up theres no smoke. Does this mean my top end might need to be rebuilt or could it be another problem as well? I'm going to go to my shop pretty soon and have them do a comp check for me so I know for sure.
  20. Have you replaced your silencer packing lately? I just changed mine today and it made a huge difference.
  21. First let me start by saying I removed my tors and everything was gravy for a few days. I cut the wires under the where you sync the carbs, cut the wire coming out of the throttle and cut the brain out.(I did this all when i was referring to the tors removal thread.) Did I do something wrong? If not then my next guess is my air boots are leaking again because I had to seal them once before. Also I might run up to my local shop and have them do a compression test to make sure its not my top end. Anyone else have any ideas of what it could be? Thanks
  22. Whats a tors eliminator kit? I just cut my tors off
  23. How long would it take my top end to blow if my air boots were cracked and I didn't know. When I bought my banshee I found out within the first few rides up and down my yard that they were cracked. I'm just trying to figure out if theres a chance the pistons could of burned up a little when it was running extremely lean.
  24. How do you like that -2 swingarm? I was thinking about getting one but haven't heard a lot about them.
  25. Thanks for all your quick replies guys. Does anybody have a ballpark figure on how long the turn around at HJ would be other than the time it takes for my cylinders to ship there and back?
