Hey guys, I have a white fullbore front hood that I want in a gloss black. What is the best option without breaking the bank? Plasti-coat looks too dull. I want a gloss finish. The mobil paint repair guy wants $200 to do an "average" job. The cheap body shop wants $300 to do a base coat with clear. Krylon Fusion looks to be a good option but reviews have been mixed although most have been on regular ATV fenders that flex more than the Fullbore ones. I am tempted to just wet sand the white paint and hit it with Krylon Fusion. Any help/options/or ideas are appreciated.

I am selling my 5.6 gallon Clarke desert tank. It is black. No issues at all. All threads are good, no leaks at all, and all hardware included. It is drilled for a Pingle fuel valve. It comes with a billet aluminum gas cap too. Only $135 shipped. Pay fees or gift it. PM me if you want it. I also have a nice glossy front fender that is cut to fit the desert tank. $30 for fender only.

Thanks Trickedcarbine. I emailed him and he replied today. He said it is pretty uncommon but this has come up a few times. The fins are too tall and need to be ground down to fit.

After taking some measurements, the hole in the shaft seems ok. The problem seems to be that the fins on the impeller are too tall and bottoming out preventing the shaft from sliding a little further.

I just bought one of these billet water pump impellers for the banshee but the pin hole on the shaft seems too low on the shaft. I can't get the pin in the shaft. The bearing and the the shaft are all the way in too. Did you guys get a bad batch of these?

I have a set of Fox Evol Gen 1 front shocks. I bought them without guards. I ride dunes only. Can I run these without the guards or will the sand eventually damage the coating?

Belts won't hold up in the sand and heat. I think the trans is the smart way to go. Time will tell though.

How did these numbers compare to the cub cylinders that you had?

I sold a set on Ebay about a month ago for only $50 or $60 shipped. It took a while too. I don't think many people want them. Keep watching Ebay for them.

It looks like a Wang crank that had all the weak parts upgraded. The Wang rods are the weakest link then come the cheap bearings. For the money I would go with the $800 TDR crank. The TDR crank is already proven by at least a couple of members on here. I am in the process of trying a WSM crank in a 7 mil. I will have to put some time on it before I can report back though.

Spark plugs could be leaking too. I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

I can't find any negative press on the wsm cranks. Jet ski guys seem happy with them. I may roll the dice on the wsm one. For strictly scientific reasons of course. It's not like I am cheap or anything.

Here is a good used set of 22x11x8 10 paddle Scat Trak Haulers with a SLS cut. These are very light and were cut thin. They are a 72" roll out. I used these all last year at Glamis with no issues. I put a patch on the inside of one tire and it held up with no issues all season. These hold air for many weeks. They are used and one paddle has a minor cut in it. I am letting these go for only $175 shipped. PM me if you want them.

Here is a really nice rear banshee shock by Works. It is their big shaft upgraded model. It was setup for a 160 lb. rider with a +6 swing arm. It should also work well for a 180-200 lb. rider with a +4. $250 shipped. PM me if you want it. Consider trade for JJ+A play axle plus I would add some cash.
