    your main seems a little small? whats your elevation? also ricky stater have bad name for being junk. i dont really know anything about timing yet so maybe someone else can fill you in on that.

    do a compression test. white smoke is coolant which dont make sense why oil would be getting on your hand then?

    what ratio of gas and oil are you running? maybe too rich and the plugs are fouled. try cleaning them or getting new plugs

    TORS are the big goofy things on both the carbs. they basicly shut off the engine if the throdle sticks open. they are a inconvience to remove the carbs and look goofy. i still have them but will soon get rid of them. other then that i kno nothing about them.

    if its cold it can only mean that cylinder isnt firing. if it were the exhuast wouldnt go cold. check you gas lines to the carbs if you already did plugs

    you should take it down to boston motors and have then do a leakdown on it. HAHA i dunno thats fucked up

    one of my old buddys had that kind and out of the 50cc they are by far the ballzist.

    my quad mag says basicly they are both WAY better then the raptor 700. faster and lighter. but thats from ATV action april 08 i personally never even seen either yet.

    i know 450s are fast but you said you quit at 3rd gear. all four strokes are going to pull ahead of you untill 3rd because of the hook up there weight gives them. do a full drag through all gears then see how far he has you. and he will still have you but maybe not as bad?

    most dealerships should carry it on hand. i use klotz r50 and i love the smell

    i'd try dropping the jet down with just pipes and open air box. those tires should spin like crazy in any gear if you had no paddles.

    yea 2 stokes get there oil from the gas therefor no gas = no oil = metal on metal. it may happen sometimes if ya forget to put peacock on reserve but repeatidly isnt a good idea. if need be just go start the shee couple times a week even if its just 5 mins.

    your air box dont have a half dollor sized hole made into the bottom opposite of the carbs? mine looks like it was made with it there? lol o well gonna ditch the whole air box and go to pods anyway

    havent seen those before but they dont look bad.. as long as can cover the hole in the bottom on the air box
