I bought mine about three years ago. Best piece of safety gear I have combined with my helmet. It took me about five rides to get use to the mobility restriction but I can't imagine riding without it now. My 17 y.o. neighbor kid broke his in half at the track in a nasty wreck. Everone said by the way he crashed he should have been in a chair but he walked away like nothing happened. I.M.O. they should be as madatory as helmets.
  2. Try posting in the wanted section, someone will most likely be able to hook you up with a decent used seat.
  3. x2 had a real smooth transaction, paid fast and was easy to communicate with. Thanks again, Martin.
  4. Don't want to jack the thread guys so pm me if you are interested and thanks for the comments.
  5. Built this grab bar awhile back for guy in Germany with a street legal Banshee. Has tail light brake light and turn signals.
  6. $55 shipped in U.S p.m me if interested
  7. once again Josh came through with some nice parts at a great price. Thanks again Josh.
  8. My deepest appologies to all of you guys going out for Pres. Day. I just got back yesterday and must admit that I used up every last bit of fresh un-tracked sand out there. I'm sure you'll still have fun running through my ruts but not as much as I had making them. Enjoy and stay safe.
  9. I typically run 4lbs. front 3.5 - 4lbs. rear
  10. Ya, that's where the problem was, I sheared the key way on the fly wheel shaft into about 4 peices. Sounded way worse when it happened, thought i dumped the whole bottom end.
  11. Just got this bike back together ( did not touch the motor) and took for a short test ride and heard a loud crunching sound ( def. not good). sound like it was coming from the kicker gear so i pulled it and it was fine. I put it all back together and noticed some rotational play in the fly wheel that sounds internal. Also the bike wants to back fire as if the timing is off when you kick it over. I'm sure I'm going to have to completely tear it down but thought I would see if anyone has a thought on where the problem lies. thanks.
  12. This is BS! Hillclimber needs to start a new site so we don't have to deal with this crap
  13. Did a strait up trade with him and what he sent was in near new condition. Great guy to do business with. Thanks!

Got a real good deal on some a-arms. Smooth transaction. Thanks.
  15. Ha, no it's 22 lbs. but my wallet likes it. I should have bought the rear fenders from you and saved myself the hassle of painting these.
  16. The cross bracing is a good idea. As for the decrotive top plate it was a test piece from a fab shop that they discarded, I find there stuff every so often at the scrap yard and snag it just for stuff like this. I'm not an expert but with no burn marks I would have to guess it was done with a water jet.
  17. Thanks for the input guys, I made it +4 over stock and have done this before with no issues but I do agree that like anything on a bike you need to inspect it for wear and stress.
  18. Thanks for the invite, I am but it will be the week before you guys get there, we will be heading back home on the 13th which is when you are getting in I'm guessing. We will be in Buttercup but if you will be there on Friday or Sat. let me know and I'll ride up. Have a safe trip.
  19. Nice, tent campin in the sand sucks ass.
  20. For the budget conscious guys like myself. Total of $10 in materials including paint.
  21. If you are renting a vehicle to drive out there why not rent a box van from penski and just take everything you need in one trip. Bonus is you got a place to sleep other than a tent.
