  1. What pipes do you have, where is your timing, and where are your air/idle screws set at?
  2. I have stock footpegs from an 06 $20 shipped...
  3. You could actually tell/feel the difference?
  4. I think he should have stuck with fighting though... Tough break he had...
  5. If those are stock Mikuni carbs and you DO have 160's in them somthing is BAD wrong... I cant believe it still runs if this is the case... Thats about 10-12 sizes to lean bro... No fuckin wonder you cant whoolie!
  6. lol
  7. This is a pretty good price for these...
  8. You are the guy from the Dillsburg area correct? If you can transport your Shee, you can ride the PA state trails up near Michaux State Forest. It is about a 30 minute drive for you. I live basically right in Michaux and its an ok place to ride... Lots of utility quads and sport 4-strokes... I have yet to see another Shee running up there... PM me if you ever need any help with anything... Welcome to the HQ!
  9. PC Is the way to go bro... By the time you buy the sandpaper, paint and clear coat you might as well just PC them. I did front and rear bumbers, brake lever, foot pegs for 45 bucks... I tried to do as much pre prep as possible though... But hey for 50 bucks they will look damn near better than new!
  10. You could try the needle on the 4th clip instead 3rd before you swap the pilot out. It may help with the low end a bit... Be safe! lol What happened anyway bro...? How did you bite it?
  11. DUDE, that royally sucks!!! You were just asking about reeds and we got you into jetting. Sorry about the shee bro... You can fix her up... maybe... Glad you are somewhat OK.... Keep us posted...
  12. bump... Can anyone help this dude? It sucks to have your shee broke!!!
  13. If your jugs are stock ported then elevation and an actual compression reading and how much you advance the timing would determine that. Here is a chart from NOSS machine. It's a guideline of sorts. .........Sea Level...1000' 2000' 3000' 4000' 5000' 18cc ....197..........178...171....170....165....145 19cc ....183..........167...160....158....152....137 20cc ....169..........156...149....146....140....129 21cc ....156..........145...138....134....128....121 stock ...130..........125...118....112....106....100 Anything above 150psi you should consider running 100+ octane or some blend of race fuel. So if you are 3000' you may want to look at some 20's. If you are at Sea Level then maybe some 21's... Hope this helps...
  14. I CANT believe it took 19 posts for someone to bring up squish... LOL :yelrotflmao:
  15. Do a search on HQ member BenBB. In his signature click the link for Jetting FAQ. It has everything about jetting you could ever want to know. Good luck!
  16. Thats HOT... It would be so awesome to have your shee boil over, or not tighten the clamp tight enough and have some boiling coolant shoot all over you... I'm not a big fan of that setup. Go with the Mr. Gasket Thermo Cap. 16psi Import size. $25.00 bucks and it just replaces your exisiting cap.
  17. Dude... Thanks for giving me a shot. I didnt get a chance to log back onto the HQ after work. Sorry
  18. That sucks... I hope she is ok... Did you see zipping around at all? I saw a Black shee coming down on the back side as I was heading up, but I never saw them again. Maybe it was your GF? It had the old school plastics.
  19. With your setup I would be cautious running anything less than a 280 main, and you may need a bit bigger. Just looking at the color alone is not the safest way to judge if your jetting is correct. It could be possible that another circuit is right on the money or a tad rich, thus giving your plugs an overall good color. Its not to say that your main circuit is lean, but if it were on the lean side it would suck to not get the full life out of your top end. There are many ways to verify jetting. Plug chopping, WOT 1-6 plug check, if its lean it may not run 100% @ WOT in 5th or 6th, some guys do it by how the bike feels/sounds/runs, etc... To get your feet wet blow 5 bucks and chop a set of plugs. Quick and easy way to see where you stand. Good luck... Oh, and just go with some good aftermarket reeds on the stock cages...
  20. :woot: LOL... Do you have any idea on what can of worms you are about to open? Did you search this topic? Try searching degree key instead of timing key... lol
  21. What is your elevation just out of curiousity? At 260 mains with the K&N filter & lid combo arent you running a bit lean? Just asking... I'd hate to see a bro burn their Shee up...
