Just to add my .02, Once you have been to Coal Hill three or four times the charm kind of wears off a bit. Also being honest, providing you got the balls a stock-piped Banshee can just about climb any climbable hill there. So unless you plan to get into hill climbing, and find other hills to climb and compete with fellow climbers I would set my bike up just for Coal Hill. I'm not bashing Coal Hill, I will continue to go up 3 or 4 times per year, but I would'nt build a bike for it. Build something that you still be somewhat versatile on, like riding some trails, doin a little draggin and screamin up the hills. Good luck!

Yes they do look rusty. They are leaking no oil and each shock is showing 150 psi when I screw on the shock pump that I have for my Mt. bike. Both shaft also appear to be straight.

For sale are a set of Works Peformance Dual Rate Shocks for Banshee's 1987-2006. These are used but in good shape with your basic wear & tear with a little surface rust. There are no know leaks and they are straight. I purchached them for $200 bucks and never installed them as I scored a set of double with Rezzies... The first $175 takes them... Free shipping! If you have a stock coil you will can just make your own. Just get some good quality 7mm or 8mm wire and some NGK 5K ohm caps... Easy and cheap for the most part.

Well... How was it guys? How many showed up?

Here is my Shee after a Coal Hill trip... Also at this point I have 8-10 rides after a frame-up rebuild... I ride the woods! I use Simple Green and a Goof Off 2 in the orange bottle... Wet it down... Spray on the Simple Green heavily!!! Let is soak in... In a bucket use Simple Green to get some warm sudszy water... Wash... Lightly spray with power washer... (Filters Covered)... Use more Simple Green and the Goof Off 2 on the trouble spots... Works magic!

We were up at Coal Hill on the 16th. Many of the runs were washed out at the top and the last 5-6 feet were near vertical. You had to hit the really steep stuff if you didnt want to deal with the near vertical jump at the top of the hills... It was nice though becuase it had just rained so the dust was down... It was also noce becuase we were the only 4 quads there...

Yeah I know... My bro is out from Michigan and we are still heading up unless its DOWNPOURING... It is supposed to be a fast mover so hopfully it will be gone by then... And at least it might not be dusty! Tomorrow is our only day... He heads back to Michigan Friday!
