X2 If you plan on riding for a long time away from anything, a small backpack to hold all your extra goodies is a good idea. Even a 1 liter pop bottle with some extra gas in it, i've seen that done at the local riding spot. Got the guy back to his vehicle.

Most people don't buy gallon jugs, usually just the quarts. For the people who ride every weekend or more ATF would be a cheaper alternative, and as long as you keep up on it you won't have a problem with dirty oil. Parts breaking because of dirty oil is caused by rider ignorance.

I switched to ATF Type F and haven't had a problem yet, I was running spectro gear saver.Works the same just have to change it more frequently. Found out about the ATF and won't go back, eff that 8 buck a quart shit I'll stick with the 2.50 a quart stuff :thumbsup: . Overboost said he changes his every third ride with yamalube. Talk about emptying your wallet pretty quick, with the cost of 2 stroke oil up to 10 bucks a pint and 93 octane still at 2 bucks a gallon.

Hey fellas, I hate to do it but its come time to sell my baby. My car took a shit on me and I have to find another. The quad is in my Sig. It's purple & yellow I'm the 3rd owner, the two previous owners only rode it on the trails. (Still has all the ORV stickers) It's all stock other than the parts listed in my sig, also is on stock bore/pistons. I haven't had much ride time on it since i've owned it, took it out to the local riding area one time for a few hours but other than that it's been ridden around my 1.5 acre yard. I Installed new rear bearings and seals and changed all engine fluids. Rear brakes are a tad worn and could be replaced, but still have life left. Also one of the rear wheel hubs is welded on. (needed an axle bought it from NYUK for 35 bones) The machine runs great, might need a tiny bit of adjustment to get the jetting perfect for the cold. It's damn close tho, running 330 mains and 27.5 pilots. I've got super swamper tsl's on the rear right now for the snow, but I'll throw in the shitty stockers that are on the bike in my sig along with the stock pipes. I may have missed some things so if you have any ?'s Pm me. I'm asking 2,500 OBO. I have the title in hand!

^^^^ No shit man. My nieghbor had a tecate 3, thing effin ripped. My buddy hopped on it, didn't have a clue about the twist throttle it had and took off rippin. Needless to say he ended up in the brush at WOT with the fat ass knobbies tearing into the back of his leg. Fucked him up pretty bad, no skin left on his leg either.

I'm jealous, I wish I had as many of those go fast parts as he does. He even has a stiffer spring in the clutch...hm.. mine has 6 :sad:
