  1. It doesn't take much to get them out. I got mine out with sand paper. Put it face down in the sink, and fill it up with water. See if it leaks any out.
  2. You just made me even more anxious to get my 10mil together. Thanks.
  3. I'm guessing it's just a casting imperfection. I just polished mine, and they're everywhere. Sand it down, and see if it goes away. That's what I had to do, before I polished it.
  4. Bump, to the top. I just bought his 39PWK's. Thanks man.
  5. Sending PM on the 10mil Crank.
  6. That's what it sounds like to me.
  7. Holy shit man. Yea, that'll do just fine cousin. Now, hurry up and ship that jank.
  8. PM'd on the 39mm PWK's and filters.
  9. Uh, no. It's the measurement around the outside diameter of the tire. It's already been explained right once. If you don't have a fabric tape, you just mark the tire and the ground in the same spot. Then you "roll" the tire until the mark goes around one complete revolution. Mark the ground there, then measure the distance between the two marks on the ground. That's roll out.
  10. no sir.
  11. Good guy to deal with. I bought a set of cases from him, sight unseen. He explained every flaw to me, and they are just as described. This guy is not out to get you. He's definitely one of the good ones. Thanks man.
  12. Yes, they're most likely gonna rip.
  13. You can get a complete Cheetah PV, 4mil topend, with HotRods crank, for around $2,700. If you got that kind of cash, I think it's your best bet. Kit Comes with: Cheetah Cylinder Wiseco pistons, wristpins, bearings, circlips All gaskets and seals HotRods 4mil welded crank Intakes V-Force 3 reeds Head with removeable domes (your choice of size) Billet powervalves
  14. With that kind of range of riding, I say get a Cheetah PV motor. You're not doing serious drags, but you ride tight trails and technical hills to get to the drag strip. I think you'd be good to go with a power valve motor.
  15. If you're gonna be doing alot of climbing, I recommend some sort of a tactical glove. I have a pair of Blackhawk SandStorm. Decent glove, for under $20. Wiley-X make real good gloves for climbing/repelling.
  16. Just a thought..... JJ&A has a few in their used section.
  17. Yes, it's supposed to do that. Keep it hooked to the top of the radiator. That's how the coolant system bleeds air out of itself. Put it back on, and fill up the radiator. And please, turn off your caps. It makes people think you're screaming.
  18. wow. Not only does he have a titanium subframe, but he has titanium a-arms too. I bet they were a pretty penny. :shoothead:
  19. I did the same thing with mine, Savage. I put a zerk on every moving part on my bike, including the friggin brake pedal shaft. I cut small grooves in the shaft to make the grease cover the whole thing.
  20. 2-stroke's are thirsty motors man. 3-4 hours is not bad at all.
  21. I have brand new OuterWears on my bike. Yes, they repel water, but not totally. I've hit small puddles before, and got a little water sucked into the carbs. Not alot, but enough to make it sputter a little. I've also ran them under the kitchen faucet to clean them off. If you hold them at an angle, the water will run right off. If you hold them flat, water runs right through them. And they sit flat, when they're on your filters.
  22. Yes, they get rid of the airbox completely. Outerwears are a good investment, but if you're riding in watery area, keep the airbox and get a better filter.
  23. I don't wanna hi-jack MickNick's thread. I'll start a thread on here, once it starts coming together a little more. I've already got one right here. You can see the progress there.
  24. I've been purposely ignoring this thread for a while now. But, it keeps haunting me. Once I'm done with my build, I'll have about $12,000 total in it.
  25. Polishing your stock cover might be more maintenance, but it's free if you do it yourself. And polished aluminum doesn't flake off. I'm personally not a fan of chrome, just because of it chipping off. All my stuff is polished. I just clean it after every ride, and blow everything off with an air hose. Seems to be working out good so far.
