I also just installed the N68A needles on the middle clip. I'm using a 160 main and 50 pilot but think I may have to bump up to a 52 pilot because i'm only .5-1 turn out on the air screw

What needle are you running? N68A or JJH or possible other?

That's a really nice R and I wish you luck with the sale. I bet it is only run to ride for about 10 minutes though. CR Engine + NO Counter Balancer = Vibrate your fillings out!

The stock boots will fit but they will be pretty tight. if you can't get them on boil them in water and then you should be able to stretch them over!

Ok I finally got off my ass and ordered my jets and needles for my 28mm pwks. I'm gonna start with 160 mains and 50 pilots. What needle should I start with...The JJH or the N68A? mods are in sig and it's pretty cold here

I would run atleast 2 boost bottles and 1/2 the front bumper so that way everyone is accommodated!

IDK about the coal region but when i bought my g/f's 230 it had itp aluminum rims on back with 22x11 realtors on it. I found them to be very stiff and heavy tire and didnt like them much here in ny for trail riding. I replaced them with 22" Holeshot xc's and they feel like they weigh 1/2 as much and her little 230 has like twice the power, LOL. They would probably be ok though on the coal hill because they do dig quite well

Is the alien system the same as the 916 system (sound wise)? I really like the sound of the DMC's and even though the 916's are cool I still prefer the look of the real duals myself. I'm glad they went back in production for everyone though

I think you answered your own question. Fix the choke, check your jetting and make sure you have clean carbs and good compression. Go from there!

I tightened mine just enough so that everything still turned free. If you tighten it to much and spinn by hand you will feel it bind. Also make sure you keep an eye on the nut. The 1st few times I rode the bike after the install I noticed the nut liked to loosen up a little. Just a heads up

Is their a bushing in the bottom of the steering stem? I had a little play in the bushing on the bottom of my stem on the LT250r and at speed it was all over the place but until top of 4th-5th gear it was almost unnoticeable. Just like your situation everything was tight to
