If you look at the of the carbs where the slide go in there should be a little window, your slide has a little hole or notch in it, it should line up with the window at WOT. hope that helps.
Do you have stock carbs? and do you have the sync tool? To use the sync tool, (first take the filters or airbox of) tighten the throttle cable untill it starts idleing a little high then put the adapters on the sync tool put the tool up to the back of the carbs and look at the needle adjust the cables on top of the carbs until the needle is the same on both of them then let it idle and measure the air flow again with the sync tool and adjust the idle screw until the carbs are the same, then set the idle back up and double check it.

I got some stuff from my local steeler shop called blue job (its a powder), you may be able to find it somewhere else alot cheaper than i found it, but it works pretty good.
Found the tail light on ebay its the second one I have had the first one had blue led's this one is red, I lost the first one when my old shee got stolen.
