    sounds like a jetting issue to me list all your mods, elevation, and current jetting. A timing plate is a great way to get a little more power out of your bike though.

    Theirs a black box under the tank next to the coil, did you unplug it? also there is a tors removal threat that walks you through the whole thing do a search on it, it may be stickied under repairs not sure though.

    to richen it u need to put bigger main jets in it. u also may wanna do a compression check on it.

    The plastic renew work great, i done mine about 6 months ago and it still looks good.

    did you put the balance tube between the carbs in? (The black one) Or you could have a jetting issue maybe one is cloged up?

    Welcome to the hq :beer: !! Are the tors still on the carbs, or do they just have a cap on them? You need to see what size pilot and main jets are in the carbs and where your air screw is set at, it will make it esier to figure out the problem if we know. take some pics of the pipes and post them so we can figure out what kind they are.
