  1. Ok I am getting a new round house swinger from LSR but I don't know what length I should get. I mostly like riding on the track but also ride through some sand, hills, and wide trails some. What is the big advantage of having a shorter swinger? And I have a Works rear shock. Can that be adjusted to fit the needs of a shorter swinger? :ermm:
  2. Ok I want to be counted in but I have to check my schedule with the Guard. I should be able to make it. I've never been there. 1. JasonsBanshee 2. IndianapolisBuck 3. MikeNick 4. AWR 5. RollinRhino 6. T_Shee 7. Jugriggs? 8. 2 STROKIN' 9. dragbanshee 10.Misssppelllleddd?
  3. I use Golden Spectro 80w gear lube. And how many times is this issue covered? Once a week or two weeks?
  4. Will a Durablue axle, brake hub, and sprocket hub fit in a LSR swinger with roundhouse carrier? And what size of swinger would be best for mx? What advantages does a shorter swinger give over stock?
  5. I've been thinkin about that. But I was thinking of getting a LSR roundhouse setup. Would that work with a complete Durablue axle setup? Or would I have to get LSR axle, brake hub, and sprocket hub?
  6. probably gonna have to count me out! national guard may have my ass for that weekend. sorry guys. someone else is going to have to bring the grill and charcoal.
  7. The top bolt has slop in the swinger. It will move around quite a bit. I have a 87 swinger and a newer style bearing carrier. The old models used 4 bolts and the newer ones use two.
  8. ok I replaced the stock bearing carrier with a durablue on because the stock one wouldn't stay straight. I replaced the swinger with a new stock swinger and the new carrier is still crooked. I can loosen it up and it wiggles freely in the swinger. I know I have the right size bolts and I think I have al the washers. This is very frustrating and would really appreciate anyones help.
  9. no new fenders and no spray paint? get lots of black sharpies...careful of the fumes lol

  11. to hell with the track? i don't remember too many places in the dunes where really good air is possible. but we have to get alot of pics and video in this time. no waiting an hour before close. if anyone wants to try anything crazy, i'm totally down for recording it. no matter if i have to stand between the gap or whatever. and i plan to do some crazy shit as well. hopefully not enough to get hurt or wreck the quad but who knows? at least we will get it all on camera
  12. i'm definitely going to get a track pass. i can clear that smaller tabletop next to the big one. as for the big one, if you hit it faster the higher you go but not out farther to clear it.

  17. I can bring a grill....should be big enough to cook some burgers for everyone. I think we can grill out on the parking lot. I don't see a reason why not. May have to check the website.
  18. Nothing major..... I was on the mx track at the Badlands in Attica Indiana around mid November. It was really muddy so my quad and myself were both covered in mud. I hit one of the easiest tables on the track in 4th gear and when I hit it, I came off a little crooked. I managed to get the 'shee in control when I landed but I was thrown way off balance. Kinda like I was going into a hard right turn but there was a left turn ahead. My right foot slipped off the peg and Nerf bar. The back tire got ahold of my leg and just ripped me off the quad. Good thing I have a tether kill switch because the 'shee just coasted to a stop. Nothing damaged on the quad. As for me I got a nice road rash where the chest protector didn't cover on my back, a really sore leg, and broke the visor on my helmet. I was a little shaken up but I just got up real quick, hopped on the quad, and kept riding to spare any more embarrassment. I would say I was pretty lucky with what I got out of that.
  19. any video of it? or a link to the press coverage?
  20. your flywheel may be out of balance....it's happened to me before. but usually that causes severe vibration...like you can really feel it from the footpegs.
