  1. So far there are a few ppl planning on going to ls for the weekend of oct. 16-20. Just wondering how many ppl from the hq are going to be down for that weekend. WOW my computer sucks it said it didnt load this topic and then it did twice. maybe I should put money into a new computer and not my bansh... yeah right!!!!
  2. Are you looking for a new one or a used one? are you looking for any certain brand? and what are you looking to spend?
  3. around what are you looking to spend? I am getting ready to take my top end down to put a fresh top end together. My camara is in the shop at the moment. So i cant do pics. I will see if i can get some but the top end is good i have been riding all this season on it with no issues at all. let me know.
  4. :ermm: Just a thought to crunch on. Wouldnt It be cheaper and less of a hassle to just have someone lIke F.A.S.T of Kevin do the port job. After all the books and the tools you will be into quite a bit of money not to mention the $250 + set of cylinders. I think its awsome to say you built your own bike. IF you are somewhat mechanicly inclined then you can due pretty much the entire bike yourself. But something like port work can make or brake the whole build, and no one would think any less of a pro port job on your bike. I am not bieng rude I have had a few ppl now that have wanted to try there own and just end up having to hunt down new cylinders. And there are a few guys on here that have ported there own and been real sucsseful. So what ever you decide works for you. I would just look into both ways and compare the good and the bad before I spent the money. Either way good luck with your build.
  5. can you pm me some pics of the crank? thanks
  6. Thats funny. Just dont tell the hubby I said so haha
  7. Would probably fabricate a peice to fit there and weld it. If its not internally broken or disturbing anything.
  8. It sounds like will be quite a group of hq ppl there. It might turn out to be worth the trip.
  9. thats a good one. Hey buy the way thanks for trien to make time to go hang out with slo while he was in ak. That was way cool of you.
  10. If its not sold already. Is it trued and welded?
  11. agreed I will through it past brandon and see what he says. I know matt was thinking about going down the 16, 17 of october so we will have to figure that out.
  12. sorry about that. things like that really sucks. hang in there.
  13. oh yeah i forgot to mention well ask. I know in a lower elavation wityhout changing my domes i would have to run higher octane so would you mix the oil diffrent say on 110? I know i should probably know this already haha
  14. I run 32:1. quick question though dj doesnt the measurements differ a little between diffrent brands of oil? or are they relativly the same?
  15. sorry the above was me i thought i was logged on as me haha. Just a thought though mine was acting the same way labor day weekend i thought she was finally done. we were messing with her the other day and noticed that the carb cap had come un done and she was sucking air. something to look at maybe.
  16. it is great if you have a sled and dont mind freezing you a.. off. The latest most ppl go around here is oct. after that the ground is hard and the wind is misarably cold. Head for the sun man! thats why we are thinking of going west! both our sleds are down and we have put our play money towards the shees all year long. lol
  17. I see just checking.
  18. yes thats low and you were ahead of me on needing the top end  So yeah you should see right around that much diffrence in the compression.
  19. Is that ls as in jericho utah or ls in ok. I know its a retard question.
  20. YOU guys are awsome. I was told it wasnt worth staying at the dunes. I have no issues camping out and dont really want to waste ride time and fuel money loading and unloading everyday either. I was just curious more on the camper thing I heard about a guy that got his trailer stuck so bad it busted the rear axle on his truck. Wont be wanting that kinda mess! I dont care about hook ups and shit as long as its parkable. we arnt rich so we do the two trailer thing.
  21. you will see around 16lbs to 20lbs going down to sizes in domes. Quick question though that compression seems kinda low for your altitude. Do you have pretty aggresive porting done?
  22. haha, I know the feeling its just hard to find time around here to work on my own bike. so i guess its going to my become my winter project!
  23. thats funny. not to get your hopes down but there are a few guys on here that have banshees and live in alaska. dont fall to hard for her. :ermm: But have a damn good time while you have her.
  24. I second that! Your as bad as me I have all these new parts for my shee and they are all on the shelf. What is wrong with us? haha do you have the cool head on yet.
