  1. dumont is closest if im not mistaken glamis isnt horrible far either when you get here theres a few 450s i ride with at logandale if you wana join
  2. is there anything you need to do riding different with a lockout clutch
  3. im in vegas the local riding spot is closed till 2011 u have logandale wich is behind lake mead its fun bu no dunes lots of trails and some decent jumps i tend to like a few hidden fire roads not to far from my house
  4. i say get different wheels for sure 17s and 35s would look best and keep some mpg black wheels with a lock beed color matched to the truck would realy set it off
  5. did you look close at all your gears also one could be worn wich would keep it popping out
  6. if it runs good do it even when your banshee is done id be a fun neighborhood bike
  7. i do tend to like the lightswitch powerband keeps my on my toes lol is it worth going to a 421 over stock piston?
  8. that looks so fun i wish their was a vegas track
  9. im looking into building a +4 crank motor should i go with the powervale or cub setup im trying to keep this budget minded i will run pwk 35mm carbs and more then likely toomey t5s should i go stock piston or bigger to have a 421 and what would be more bennificial a long or short rod the bike is for mainly dunes and sometimes around the neighborhood
  10. looks good nice to see another nevada member
  11. i love my ac nerf bars havent put em on my bike yet but my brother runs em on his and theyve saved my foot and his
  12. thats what ive thought since the area i will have to cut the last bit of that area of the case wich none is structural and then make a peice to fit in there it would go from behind the vin up to the clutch and then on the right side of the chain i thought about an ebay case if i cam find one and instal it after season is over but then i have a different vin on my motor and i dont know how close cops in nevada, california and utah wacth for stolen banshee motors and how critical they are to different vins from frame to motor but i come from a honda car background and its a mess with that kind of thing
  13. i bought a 99 banshee for a decent price, previous owner is not mechanicaly inclined at all i find new weird stuff alot as i tear the bike down. long story short same old story of broken case bike, had some ebay chain when i bought wich im suprised after one broken cheap chain he bought another. its a chunk on the topside of the sprocket good sized chunk goes all the way to the clutch its only external peices of the case affected doesnt leak or have any non cosmetic peices missing or cracks. should i replace it after dune season, or since i work at a metal shop find another case with that section good cut it out and weld it on to mine, or make a new peice to go there out of aluminum and weld it in. if i should replace it what would it cost since i hate to take the case off since i would have to tear down the whole motor and the top end is very fresh.
