  1. I'm sorry You don't invest money into a quad or bike or Car/Truck for that matter you just spend money on it to make yours. An investment is something like a house, 401k (not Right at the moment though) etc.. So if you say you invested something you really saying I pissed it away on Toys rather than beer so your spouse or other would quit bitching at me for drinking. But to each there own I guess.
  2. I think Lonestar will make you one but you'll have to pay through the nose, It uses a cr500 no-link shock setup and has 250r geometry. Ive seen a few over the years and they look awesome I believe they used on for the Point DeVua in france on the Race bike in 06.
  3. Still, Great find just goes to show you that the internet isn't just for porn!
  4. I've had good luck with Tusk, Athena, & Weisco. I've also used K&K but Thought the craftmanship could be better. I never had bad luck with any including Comtec, Just make shure you Surfaces are free of any old Gaskett Remnants and that you use a Torque Wrench ( Good&Tight ) Dosen't cut it. Also Run the Shee for about 5-10 Min then Retorque. This Method has never done me wrong.
  5. They Work Well I'm Curently running them and Overall I'm Pretty happy with Mine, and I like that you can get them cheap.
  6. Toomey T-5, If you can afford them, I have FMF Fatty and they are good choice if your on a budget as most people here get them and upgrade later. For Drags CPI's or T-5's, For Woods/Motocross Paul Tunner's, For All around T-5, DMC, FMF Fatty's or ProCircut. Its Really Based on what you can afford and what you are going to do with the Shee Later ( I.E., Porting, 4mil, Carbs, Etc) For that The T-5's leally shine For mods Later, Alothough I am a Huge Fan of the DMC Alien's If whish I hadn't got rid of my last set as they compare in my opinion to the T-5's very closely. This just My 2 Cents worth but Most people will concure. Good Luck.
  7. Get some Elka's if you can afford them, I've ran TCS, and Works Before and Liked them but then rode a buddies Bike with Elka Dune Series and Loved them. I-shock seem's to be good but I havn't run them But I think Work's are better for the Price to what you Get. Just My two Cents.
  8. Get the Leager I've Run them before and they are Great, It's what you can aford! I've also had ASR on my Last Shee. and had no complant's other than Instruction's could of used work (I.E. Pic's) But they were afordable. I'll be in the Market For a set of A-arms for the New shee Let me know if your guy could get the rest of us a good deal.
  9. I vote you go with the Pual Turner High Rev's That's what the Raced the Point De,Vau in france all those Years Worked Really well for them.
  10. Go With the Toomy's T-5 Not the T-6 especally if you are going to upgrade the Motor down the road, I curently Have the FMF Fatty's and If I haddn't of got them cheap I wouldn't of bought them. Also Consider the DMC Aliens They are Awsome and closely resemble the T-5 but I thing they are a better pipe This Not gospile but Just My Own Prefrence. I mainly ride the dunes as well and when Have had Nothing bad to say about the T-5.
  11. Are you Using the stock or aftermarket fuel line? When I switched to the pingel Dual fuel Valve I had the Same Problem With The Bigger line but I had to just Re-secure the Fuel line's to carbs I used Zip-tye's and they Are working great I just didn't have any clamp at the time. They Don't leak anymore.
  12. I never herd of lectrons except the Achool kind Got some Pics and How Much?
  13. Anyone want to part with either some Kehin 28mm Pwk or 33mm With Thumb Throttle cable?
  14. I got His Kit for my first Banshee Build and It worked out great Good Price, Althought you end up with extra's witch isn't a bad thing just trowing it out there. I was going to get anouther set but I have a good souce for S.S. Cap heads at a resonable price when I buy in bulk.
  15. Thank's I better pay more attention to E-Bay. Does any one have pics on how they mount? Just Curious.
  16. Here Is where it attaches To the Stering Stem you Have to make Sure you Mount it low enough on the Stem As to not interfere with the Radiator and that the stem turns freely in both directions, I also added a 1/8" washer to the lower rad. mounts just for Grins.
  17. Here is a Pic how the PEP one is mounted. I Bolt Directly to the Lwr. Motor Mount.
  18. I've Got a Pep one and it works well A little trickey to mount at First so it dose'nt contact anything or bind but It was the only specific one for the Banshee that used a sensible Mounting System. I Tried Using a Univesal Denton one but It had a Very Crappy mounting System. Worth the Money Though! The Elka Is Primo and If I Could see one Specific for the Banshee I'd Buy it.
  19. I've Rode Several Banshee's W/O the V-force 3's and They are fine But Definitly buy at least a good set of Boysen's You will notice a bit more perfomance and you Banshee will be more Crisp. If Money Is not so much a Factor By the Vforce3 You'll Thank yourself down the road and if you put new reeds on anyway you may as well put the 3's in. I have run them in 2 out of the 3 Banshee's and I probably have over 800 hours of hard ridding on my 96 and never has it left me fiddling with tunning, You will have to Rejet maybe a jet size or two but the Plug chop will be the Tell/Tell sign's of proper Performance. Once you Put the 3's in you eventually go with bigger carbs and this is where the 3's really shine. Just My two Cents worth.
  20. I Have Used The Dura Blue X-33 Quick change Before and Liked it Well, Used it On My Last Banshee, Although I went with a Lonstar On the New Banshee and a Custom 440EX, Got a Good Deal Through Alba Action for 300 for the Shee and LSR's Warenty is Awsome Never used on an Axle but Once on something else and got treated like a king.
