  1. Definitely Pro-Design I just got one from Jeff at F.A.S.T. I spoke to him on the phone he Say's he'll sell you a Mod quad if your hell bent on getting one but he runs nothing but the Pro-Design in all his bike's. As for the Vito's I don't know any one who runs them but they are 64.95 and you can normally get a Pro-design for about the same if you shop around.
  2. I honestly would not do anything with Brake Kleen or a pressure washer, Why you ask Is the Crank bearings are not sealed and you run the risk of contaminating them more I would suggest tearing it down all the way just as a safe measure it's not too difficult and you have plenty of people here to give you a hand if you need. If the bike ran leen and you swear up and down the jetting was spot on (assuming you still have the oil-injection hooked up) The oil injection could have got clogged, It happened to me. And Definitely don't spray water down there because the bearings on the crank are precision ground and if you don't get all the water out the will start to form rust almost immediately and then you be buying a new crank. But look on the bright side you can get you kid the 240 kit for the blaster now.
  3. Yeah Chicks Dig Scars. LOL But sorry to here about your luck where is Gordon's located in reference to let's say Kingman, AZ my Parent's live there.
  4. Don't bother milling the head Just get a Noss/Cool head you'll be allot happier in the end, as for the flywheel It comes of pretty easy but By the Puller It's cheap like $12.00 and you can always use it later. Go with 20cc domes.
  5. Thanks for your help Banshee Man I like the pics look great.
  6. Ok I cool I will, Got any pics of your Plastic?
  7. Go with the T-5's you will be happy with them I have FMF Fatty's and they are alright but the t-5 are great all around better than the T-6's and when and if you do more mods you'll already have the pipes to support them. But I'm not a Toomey guy I prefer the DMC alien's just my Opinion
  8. Yes Definitly get a couple of jets I wouldn't get a kit but Get at least 2 to 3 size's bigger than stock on the main and one on the Pilot
  9. I do know that Money is always a factor but I'm of the adage if your going to be there anyway do it right so you don't have to do it latter. Modding you banshee is something you'll never complete there will always be something else to do it's just the one's you choose to do now that are going to be the key. Just like everyone here we are on a budget I would love to spend $5000 on my quad right know but I'm doing the same as you slow and steady.
  10. I've run the 20cc safely and all the way down to 18cc on 93 octane with +4 but That was pushing it. But I also run at higher elevation now. And You would be amazed by the V-Force 3's and a timing plate would do for you the V-force 3's were my very first mod that i did on my 06 shee and I could tell a difference. Also Consider doing a very mild port job I you have the knowledge you could do it yourself but I would only suggest this if you are able to do it otherwise send it to Herrjugg racing or F.A.S.T. If it's going to be down for awhile. I know it seems like allot but It's something you'll eventually do any way.
  11. Hey Chevy7398 what setup are you running in the front is it the Lng.Trvl. Leager's or the Stock Trvl.? And where and how much did you get it for? Didn't mean to interfere with this post but Just curious how you like it.
  12. Im interested in the stator cover and posibly the a-arms how much and to ship to 83605
  13. I've got a set of blue Plastic fenders given to me and they've been spray painted pink (I know ugly), and I'm curios on getting them painted professionally just curios if anybody here would recommend someone around the Northwest area. Any idea how much they would charge? Not sure what I want but something cool for later.
  14. I agree, I got a call into him now just wondering about the price? It took some searching and this question seems to be asked allot around here maybe it ought to be pinned?
  15. I would suggest A Noss/cool head versus the milled head as you can up the compression with domes allot easer, Second Most people on here will tell you to go with a +4 timing advance I'm going to go with +7 with my 17cc domes but I run race gas. I would also go with Wiseco Pro-lites as they are cheap and I have never had a Wiseco fail on me yet, And I've run them for the last 20 years. Other than that It all depends on what mods you already have done (I.E. Pipes, reeds, carbs, Etc.).
  16. I agree I just went to wiseco pro-lites and my original top-end only had 10 or so hours on it, I only did it because I was doing some shift mods and a crank true and weld so i figured what the heck. All I ended up doing was hone it a bit.
  17. I would say every other year again depending on your ridding but 40-50 dollars for bearings is alot cheaper than 100-200 down the road and the frustration of getting it off.
  18. Just curious if any one has these or used them, the kit's 60.00 on there site http://bossbearing.com/dlr.asp seem to be better than stock.
  19. If you aren't hell bent on aftermarket and just want to upgrade the stockers what about these, http://bossbearing.com/dlr.asp don't know who has them but Tapered bearings are better than stock style anyday.
  20. Also look into the trail tech vapor computer it has temp., spedo., tach, and odo. plus its just a few dollars more $100 or less at some places
  21. If they have them in stock you get them right away at bikebandit.com and Yes I would get new studs you can find them here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pro-Design-...Q2em118Q2el1247 good luck
  22. Pipe's for sure, Remove Air box lid and install K&N, V-Force 3's, Noss/cool head with 20cc domes. That is what I would do in that Order.
  23. I looked this up the other day at work http://www.ktracks.com/ The owners name is Dan. phone # 352-369-1200 give him a call, I'm trying to get a price from him I'll post it later. video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0wOA6wREtM...feature=related
  24. I would never just pure water in if you leave it in the aluminum in the case act's as an anode and the water a cathode the water will eat you aluminum cases and you will have a more expensive problem, there is a bit more protection with a 50/50 mix but you should change it once every year, I know this first hand I have Seen countless examples of this time and time again.
  25. I agree That is total unethical business practice's I would figure with all the harassment you have given him he would at least make it a priority to get you taken care of first. Sorry for the luck.
