  1. get ahold of kevin hurr and ask him what he thinks you need. If it was me and i was riding alot of trails and ditches and shit i would go with a aggressive trail port with either fattys or pt mids
  2. any 2002 banshee that runs and isnt beat to hell is well worth 1600 expecially with pipes, cool head, nerfs etc. I would ride it first and go from there. Look around on here for a set of used cylinders and your all set (if indeed you would ever have a issue with the other ones)

  9. i know my shift forks are straight, carbs are spotless, just rebuilt them a few weeks ago, needles are on the 4th clip from the top, choke is off, choke tube is on properly, air screws at 1.5 out
  10. my cousins stockers (dunlops) hooked up better in sand and beat me in some drags with just pipes and pods and my shee has advanced timing, pods, pipes, porting, milled head, reeds, etc....kinda embarsing

  12. i just got back from the dunes and the shee ran good but with the worst bog ive ever riden with on a 2-stroke. It would only go if i clutched it to get into the rpm's. Hell i had it in first a couple times and it wouldnt even pull through the rpms i had to clutch it in 1st. What the hell? I know im Fat on the mains but that should affect low-midrange should it? It acts like it doesnt have enough balls to pull from low rpm's to the powerband without clutching it, after that it rips. When its bogging it wont pull out of it without clutching it or going downhill. The other thing is, i came to a stop in 4th gear and tryed to downshift and the shifter got stuck down and wouldnt move. I had to take off in 4th (i know its not good) and then it shifted like butter the rest of the night. What the hell could that be? thanks guys.....doesnt help my cousin ran out of gas so i went back to the truck to get a strap to pull him back and i get out to him and hook up the strap and i ran out of gas....didnt have anymore gas at the truck and it was damn near dark and had to get pulled back.....what a shitty night. Guess im bringing 8 gallons next time lol

  14. if you guys could give me a rough estimate, how much hp could someone expect from a stock stroke, agressive dune port, cpi inframes, compression bumped to say 150psi, v-force 3's, and ignition advanced +4. Also how much would you gain from the same setup but a 4 mill. Thanks. Or if someone could give me a idea whats all involved in getting up to around 65-70hp...

  18. i took my shee up trail riding this past weekend in some tight trails. I got it home and rode it and it acted like it was restricted...i changed the plugs and it made it a little better but it acts like the clutch is slipping, but i know its not. It seems like its not putting the power to the ground. Did a compression check and it was a 135 psi in both cylinders, im getting good spark also. Is it just me or is it posiable something is making it "slower" I have a +4 swinger on it and its having a hard time riping wheelies in 3rd. (without clutching it) It runs great, just feels like its lacking power.....or do you think its just me getting bored with the power? it doesnt help my maxxis razr's suck ass and just throw a rooster of shit and dont dig in.

  20. wait a minute......you only blocked one intake boot and one cylinders exhaust? The bottom end doesnt have any seals seperating one another. You have to block off both exhausts and both intakes or you it will NOT work at all. As for the seals there is only one on each side of the crank. Both of the cylinders share the fuel/air mixture. My dad make up some aluminum plugs at work, one was tapped for the air valve and one was tapped for the air guage. Those were put in the intakes and clamped down. He made two rubber plugs up with a bolt and one washer on each side of the rubber so the rubber would expand when the bolt was tightened. Those were put in the cylinders where the exhaust comes out and tightened down....worked amazing. :beer:

  22. is there ANYTHING to do with the carbs i could have wrong causing it to run lean? passed leakdown, running correct mixture, correct plugs, and have FAT jetting....the only thing i can think of is that something is screwed with the carbs causing it to suck to much air??? im stumped
  23. Im looking at buying some new carbs. My mods are in my sig. Do you think i should get 28mm or 30's? or bigger? thanks
  24. i know man, it doesnt make sence to me either lol. I did two leakdowns and it held its 6psi for 6 mins. :woot:
