  1. You know I was there! I think I was about the only one you lost to right? Alright, alright!!! So what if you smoked me by half a hill? No doubt bro your bike ran damn good. Hell, I didn't want to get off it after racing it those few times.
  2. I had the same thing happen to me. It was running and then it just got worse until nothing. I was so pissed cause it was only the forth ride on it since it was new. Ran it to a shop and they pulled the outter wears off and it ran great. Yeah lets just say I felt like a dumb ass!!!
  3. A buddy of mine had the same problem. There is a clear window on my buddies that shows your oil level, assuming they are all alike, so I'm sure he's not running the wrong amount of oil.
  4. What about a like new set of CPI OOF without or a new with silencer?
  5. For the porting I know a lot of guys use FAST Racing or Herr Jugs. I don't have any personal experience with either but come highly recommended. Personally, I would talk to slobanshee06 (Brandon) he'll hook you up. He does a hell of a job. I raced his bike at LS in Ut this Easter weekend and there weren't to many passing that bike!!!
  6. IMO I don't think you need to be to worried about the head itself, granted I'm sure some are better than others. As long as it's a quality reputable product I think you'll be fine. Every head will have a little difference in the water jackets. Like stated, be concerned more with the domes. Pro design is who i would recommend. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Some friends and I were out at LS the last couple days and I had a little mishaps. I was climbing a hill and heard a big pop and then the bike stalled. I could see antifreeze on my pipes and also on other parts of the bike. I pulled off the grill first thing and the radiator cap had come loose. I checked the fluid level and it still was ok. I started it up and I didn't see anything leaking. I just rode it real easy for a minute or two and everything seemed to be fine. Could something else be wrong or did the radiator cap just come loose?

  9. Not like I know a ton about porting, but I've seen these with my own eyes and they look really good. I think you did a hell of a job Brandon.
  10. I had $4000 cash in my pocket and went to buy a new four stroke. The damn salesman wouldn't let me drive it until after I bought it. I said screw that! Pulled out the role, watched him swet and left. Then went to another dealer and bought my banshee of the showroom floor. Then I went back to show that salesman my new ride and thank him.
  11. Come out Friday after work. We'll be there.
  12. I'm getting ready to have mine done. There are a couple builders around here that I've talked to and they said you'll definitely feel a difference. About 27.5 is the biggest you can go.
  13. Jay's the type of guy that bends over backwards for you. I've had some good phone conversations with him. No one will have a problem when doing business with him. Thanks Jay I'm going to take you up on that Glamis trip!!

Jon has been around long enough, that everyone should know he is a great guy. I'd never think twice to do business with him again. This is just one more good thing to say about his, already long list of positive feedback. Thanks Again Jon!
  15. Just my 2 cents . . . if you can't go with a 700 Raptor wait until you can. I've got a buddy that has a 660 and my girlfriend on her Z400 makes him look slow. No shit! And he barely weighs anything.
  16. I know you can't go wrong with shears or t5's. If it's just your go fast bike I would go with shears. Or maybe even CPI's.

You should have your bike done by then?
  18. It's just going to depend on how your bike runs. It may not even need to be jetted. Have you run it and done a plug check?
  19. I would just find a nice used stock one.
  20. I personally have never run T5's, I've always just had CPI's. If the motor is dialed in right for each pipe, you'll get more out of the CPI's. Trust me, they are worth it.
  21. slobanshee06 is a great buyer. Very trustworthy and personable. He showed me a cylinder he ported and I'll tell you what, it looked incredible. Extremely well done. You could tell he puts a lot of time into his work. I highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Brandon!!!
