hey guy ima noobe and hey serious problem
tapout94 replied to dudly's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
same shit, same cylinder happened to me. for some reason that left side is leaning out. only i had 18 or 19 cc domes... cant remember... anyway, scrap that 2 into 1 intake and go back to the dual carb setup! im still having problems with my left cylinder, and im willing to bet that trinity's CV intake has something to do with it. i mean, i could be wrong... wouldnt be the first time! but i am deffinately going back to the duals. as far as knowing if it is stroked... as brian said before your new shee has either recessed domes or a spacer plate, if not then its stock stroke. i dont know jeff, but all i hear is good about him. i went with Nate Mccoy at www.mccoysperformance.com . i cant tell you the extent of service he offered me! here are some things said about him... http://forums.atvdragracers.com/index.php?showtopic=1786 -
how are you testing the spark? the stator could still be bad, however unlikely because the problem would be in the wiring of the stator.... check the wiring harness for exposed wires but my guess is cdi... if not coil...

anyone by chance have an extra one in central cali they can part with?? mine is missing and i need to get my bike together by this weekend so i can go on my thanksgiving dumont trip!!!
-
guess my shift pro kit must be the one exception.....
-
i got Nate Mccoy doing mine right now. talk about an awsome reputation, and a great price.... he is well talked about on forums like atvdragracers and planetsand. plus his dyno results speak for them selves. www.mccoysperformance.com

you can pull start it, and it runs better at high rpm? im going to say stator. do an ohm test and see. thats where i would put my money.
-
go look up cascade innovations out of oregon and order a mod shift star and shift pro shift kit. you can order online or by phone. you'll love it!! as far as your shifting... i does sound like the shift shaft, if not... you will have to dig deeper, next check the shift forks for wear or bending and the shift drum for wear. but..... if your not quite sure what all it intails, buy a clymers manual. best investment i have made towards my shee yet!

desisions,, what to do... some advice needed
tapout94 replied to 2strokecook's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
what he said. long rod, however still very reliable... dont waste the $$$ if sticking with stock stroke, plus why go so extreme on the port job? you building a drag bike? the decision you are looking for has alot to do with the type of riding you do. -
trinity stage IV 2into1 carb CV manafold with 33PWK
tapout94 replied to tapout94's topic in Swap and Trade
prefference contributes to worth... i can get a new set of 39mm carbs for about $300 good manafold for about $100 new... and these are $475.00 new but why buy when you can trade? -
trinity stage IV 2into1 carb CV manafold with 33PWK
tapout94 replied to tapout94's topic in Swap and Trade
enough cash to get me a coupple carbs, manafold(s), and throttle cable -
i got a trinity stage IV CV manafold(2 inot 1 carb) with o rings and a 33 PWK carb, K&N airfilter with black precharger, and throttle cable. these set ups increase bottom end by 20% and top end by 15% and go for about $475.00 brand new. so why get rid of it? i stroked and ported my engine and looking for some more fuel that i cant get out of this system. i need 2 high 30's carbs, manafold(s) and throttle cable. i live in central cali. if anyone is interested post back, or pm me. thanks! matt

what do you want for those raptor plastics?
-
ive got a stock stroke crank, and some fmf gold series pipes that i would be willing to trade for some different pipes (high range rpm)to go with my newly drag ported juggs. the FMF pipes are better for trail and mid range rpm. i also have a stock head and an extra set of pro design 18 cc domes. i live in central cali... i can meet someone somewhere.... would rather stay away from shipping if possible. thanks Matt

who's going, when? what are you running? just rented my trailor.... now im waiting on my newly ported cylinders, 4 mill crank and my dunable override tranny parts (mccoy's performance). the suspense is killing me! Nov. 21st-28th
-
speeed = $$$$... but as most have already said, pipes and filter are a must, do that first. TORS removal would be smart. cool head with smaller domes will give you some added compression. pipes are going to be your most expensive if you go new, check out e bay motors and you could find some for alright prices. but do your homework... many parts/mods are ride type specific, meaning i wouldnt suggest different paddles since you run trails... just an example.

GEAT ADVISE! everyone listen to this man!
-
sure ill sell that 2 into 1... as soon as i get me new carbs... what sparked this whole thing off was a whole in the piston.... so i have to change my pistons anyway. and the cub cylinders alone are about $899, not ported(from nate) just dont have the money right now for the cubs... do have the money for a port job. have considered, and will be getting a new swing arm, chain and paddles. as of now, im running an 8 paddle. will be getting shearer big bores, as original post states. all in due time.

2 into 1 filter or 2 into 1 carb??
-
The BOSS(wife) just gave me the go-ahead.... so...... this is what i got.... 94 SHEE prodesign cool head 18cc domes FMF gold series pipe carbon fiber reeds (stock reed cages) trinity stage 4 2 into 1 carb manafold PWK 33mm K&N filter and precharger shift pro shift kit/ cascade modified star ...this is what im doing.... 4mm stroker crank and pistons drag port stock jugs (mccoys performance) custom domes (mccoys performance) dunable overide transmission (mccoys performance) ...this is soon to come.... cheetah cub cylinders shearer big bore in frame pipes dual PWK 39mm carbs lock up clutch vf3 reeds thats all just engine. i do have mutch more planned.... FUCKIN' STOKED!
-
you are not going to notice that much of a difference with the vf3's and unless you are going to get that porting done in the neer future i would go with the t6's.. they were designed more for stock/neer stock bikes.

Runs like $hit after a half hour or so
tapout94 replied to 2004LEBanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
stator would be a good guess, but it shouldnt do the same thing with a brand new one. is your elevation very different from your house to where you ride? are you sure its not jetting? see if a reed is stuck open.... -
what 278 said... depends on what type of riding you do. i say get both... a port job will deffinately wake up a 4mm stroke!
-
im running wicked +2+1 arms... work great.... you cand find them on e bay or give them a call at 417-695-2124. he is the father of the owner of ace fabrication(swing arms) nice guy... fast shipping. great product. go with them
-
i bought my shee with a 2 into 1 already on it... after i put some more into the engine i'll scrap it and go back to duals, but i've been told to stick with it for now by a pretty reputable engine builder.
