now i have heard of powders that bake at a low temperature, maybe thats what they did, or they could have said f**k it and just threw them in the oven .. time will tell. i am very curious of what they really did

i always do it by hand.. its pretty dam easy!! just make sure that you have the ring gap on the locater pins on the piston.. it will go together pretty easy!!

with that 2 into 1 pipe i would go with 22.5 pilots, and around a 240-250 main.. the 2 into 1 pipes jet a lot leaner than duals... i would run the needle in the middle clip.. just check your plugs after jetting and go from there.. that should get you close! if you need a 2 into 1 carb setup to make it an awesome woods bike, pm bankrupt, he is making them and i am powdercoating them, i started a thread with pictures so look on my profile to find it.. later,gary

i run amsoil 50:1 . its also good stuff. it says for racing also.. if t is good for racing it is good for anything11 i trail ride and race with it!! good shit!

yea man, sorry about that!! i am a dumbass tonight. now i see that it is on the stator side. duh. lol man i am not sure what would cause that.. i wouldn't worry about it if it were me.. just get everything clean and use some good sealer for the cases, not too much and not too little.. i guess if some oozes out it won't hurt.. although i have heard of stories were yamabond ate up some crank bearings. not sure if that is true but i have heard it.. good luck on the powdercoating to man, i am planning in building a sanblasting room in my shop, it will be a fully enclosed wood structure with lighting, ventilation, and all. then i am also working on a big oven.. later,gary

i love my 392 cub!! its a stock stroke with a 68mm bore!! and it kicks ass all day long. i am not running an overide due to the type of riding that i do, i did do the shift pro kit and a modded star!! like i said, it hauls ass man!!!

sounds like the yamabond didn't seal around that stud, and tranny oil may have seeped its way though and drain down?? u think?? thats all i can think of on that dude.

i will thrid that also!! its amazing how it transforms and changes its state!! pretty damn kool.. you can make a rusty piece of crap part look very trick and better than it ever was!! me and my cousin are workin on building a sandblasting room.. about 7'x7' .. has lights, a helacious ventilation system, and of course, sand! getting a blasting hood, i have a respirator, but we are going to make the ventilation so bad ass that dust is no problem!! i will post up some pictures, fixing to go big with it guys, just takes a little time and work.

yea i have the modded star and shift pro in my cub bike1! i couldn't ask for it to shift any smoother or easier!!! if it was any easier it would be a bad thing!!lol get your clutch adjusted right also. it helps with shifting.

kool.. i run amsoil myself and swear by it!! it does burn pretty clean though. i use the dominator at 50:1.. i run 19cc domes at 600-700 elevation with +5 timing on 93 pump gas.. seems to be fine.. my cylinders are at passion right now getting bored.. they were a used set of jugs i came across, .

dam dude!! he wasn't being a smartass, he clearly stated that he was not trying to be a smartass, i don't blame anyone for trying to get a good deal! and it is a good idea to put a price on things, that gives people a good idea of what to offer and what not, he was at least making a starting point for you on the price, and i am sure he was assuming that you had a sense of humor when he offered the 10 bucks, relax people, relax! i am sure someone will be interested, it may take 5 minutes or 2 days, but i am sure someone will tune in and give you a fair price for it.. later,gary

no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the cylinders are supposed to be bored to the pistons that are going in them,, if trinity bored the cylinders without supplying a piston kit, they are half ass!!! you are asking for big trouble if you put it together like that.. you will not have any compression..
