not sure riggs, i think people are afraid to rock the boogers cause they look goofy as all hell!! lol.. this bike does surprise me.. its just the right combination put together.. trust me, this is just a stock stroke bike with a fresh bore (65mm) and i ported it myself.. it runs even harder on hard pack.. i would say that the tune is right on edge.. if i went leaner, or went higher on the timing, i would say pistons would start to melt.. with the compression and timing, it was tricky to tune for pump gas.. but it runs like hell and stays together for some od reason..

yea those tires do swell up i noticed.. lol.. hey dave, when you bolted those paddles on, did you notice how far behind i was?? not bragging, just sayin that, for what it is. it runs pretty good.. it really surprises the hell out of me.. i am running 19cc domes and +5 on the timing.. using pump gas, i am getting away with murder!! lol

IMO compared to stockers, the single carb wins all around.. i do have the bike perfectly tuned which also makes a big difference.. but with the motor setup i have, the single carb feeds it perfectly..

i just installed a 1-5 N down dunable with lockout in my cub bike (392).. i have rode it very little, but it shifts like a dream.. it is like the tranny is anxiously waiting to upshift.. all it takes is a little nudge of the shifter and you are in the next gear.. its like being in a automatic car that has a shift kit.. i hope mine takes it easy on the forks though.. haven't rode it enough yet.. time will tell i guess.. i got mine from HJR.

lol.. either way lynn. i would feel ok with leaving it on the trailor at the badlands.. but not at haspin.. like i said, that seems to be a loosely ran place.. i took the cub bike to haspin once before.. but nt with the new PC frame and bling, or the overide and lockout either.. i toasted a clutch up there launching it in 4th gear, only because it didn't wanna shift with a stock tranny.. i am dying to see how it cranks out.. what kinda tires you think would hook p good on that track?? some 4 snows?

trust me.. run the EEK. i had tuning issues when i first put mine on.. threw the EEK in.. and the tuning began.... i beleive that i have my carb dialed in now.. it runs pretty good with no issues.. but changing the needle was night and day difference.. so order a EEK and start tuning it.. let us know how you come out.

i am using the 35mm. no dead spots.. and very responsive.. its good in the woods when you need to flock the throttle and gtet on the pipe instanty.. but traction was a big factor.. those hidious looking tires did well in the sand..

he is talking about nitrotate.. he and i both do powdercoating.. he has an oven big enough to do those pipes.. he's your man.. tell him i sent you..

if anything i would suggest a colder plug... i usually stick with the b8es, or the champion 805's.. just tune it and read the plugs..

i would suggest a dunable overide.. thats what i did with my cub.. the lockout holds the clutch plates together very tight at high rpm's.. either sell the lockout and get a good F.A.S.T clutch. or get a dunable overide.. if you decide to sell the lockout let me know.. i also have a polished stock clutch cover if you need one.(it looks like chrome)

i also have a 392 cub with pwk carbs.. i also ran the single carb banshee against stock and aftermarket carbed bikes (dual carb bikes)

ok guys.. just went on a trip to the badlands, on my trail bike , it has t5's, single carb setup, coolhead, and a timing plate.... it has been a discussion (and arguement) that the single carb kills power and topend.. i beg to differ!!!!. by no means am i bragging.. but hopefully the guys that seen this bike run in person ( guys at the badlands) will chime in and give there opinions.. i have argued with others about the performance of this setup.. now i want to prove my point.. so hopefully i will get some opinions on it from the guys..

hell yea it was a blast.. i had a little mishap on the way home (trailor tire blew out) but luckily i had a spare that fit it.. it was deinately the best riding i have done in a while also.. i have a little video i'll get uploaded later.. after changing a tire n the dam trailor with semi's blowin by, and having to beat the dam fender back out on the trailor.. i left the shee's loaded last night.. so i'll get everything cleaned and shit today.. i'll get those vids loaded later..
