  1. The whole group I wish i could figure out how to upload more than 1 pic per post, and larger pics too
  2. I got a little harry off the 65' table top
  3. Here are some pics of a previous ride of ours out at Majestic with pretty much the same group of guys. notice Cody fixing the SAME chain as mentioned in the ride of shame (mind you, this is 1 1/2 months before the ride of shame)
  4. Looking for a set of banshee or warrior pegs to hack up. i am custom building some pegs to replace the chinsey set-up on my tri-z. already have one set, but need another to make some "fat man pegs" PM me

  6. Listen to this guy... Already lookin' for parts and he hasn't even payed me for the sleepy 94 shee yet ::
  7. The o-ring should be on the bottom of the stationary shaft. You can use a thicker o-ring on the bottom to take up some play. I have put a smaller o-ring in the inside of the kicker itself to take up MORE slop on my older shee. works good for a while, but you will probably end up replaccing both o-rings a few times a year to keep it tight. they seem to wear pretty quickly. I have also installed a very small spacer (about 1mm) behind the detent spring to tighten the spring tension and help hold the kicker in place. OH... Unless you need a new ball and spring, stay away from the fleebay kicker rebuild kits, they are a waist of money, and wear out quicker than the original hardwear.
  8. I have a revo 2.5, converted to a 3.3 chassis, extended arms, beadlocks, big block, steel drive shafts, werks clutch, spektrum dx3, lots of carbon fiber, etc. All the best parts i could buy. VERY custom. i can get you some pics if intereted. It has pretty much been a shelf queen since i finished it last year. engine only has 3 tanks through it. pm me if interested.
  9. If you have a new crank to put in, have one of your imaginary friends put some pressure on the back of the flywheel with a prybar and rap the end of the crank with a hammer. It will eventually pop off like this, however, if you plan on reusing the crank, i wouldn't recomend trying this. You can very easily move a crank out of spec by smacking the end of it.
  10. If there is no spacer plate, and the head hasn't been rechambered, then it doesn't have a 4 mill stroker crank. could have a 5mil longrod, but not a stroker.
  11. I am running a similar set-up in 35-45 degree weather, about 1000-1200 elevation . im running a 48 pilot, 210 main, eek needle on the 3rd clip. My carb is a 36pwk, but it should be close, or at least a good starting point.
  12. I need a TRI-Z to go ice racing with this winter. I have a fairly stock, freshly built 94 Shee that i would be willing to trade for a VERY clean TRI-Z, otherwise, i would be willing to buy what you have if it needs work. thanx
  13. I am looking for a TRI-Z 250. I would like one in good condition, but i will take what i can get. I ride with a big group of 3 wheelers (all hondas, 350xs, and 250rs) and the guys found a place to go ICE racing trikes in syracuse, so, I obviously want to go ice racing too. I can find a ton of 350xs and 250rs, but i want to remain loyal to my Yammies (and beet all the Hondas!) If someone has a VERY clean TRI-Z, I would be willing to trade a fairly stock, fresh built 94 banshee. SO, WHO HAS ONE THEY WANT TO GET RID OF?
  14. I have a small shop in southwestern NY (Jamestown, about 2 hrs south of buffalo). I would be happy to finish it up for you. I have built several banshees, and i turn wrenches on quads and sleds for a living. I get $35 an hour in MY garage. PM me if interested.
  15. I have been running the wsm racing pistons (not the platinums) in my 4 mill for 2 seasons now with no problems. Also ran them in my engine prior to stroking it. The racing pistons are coated, have larger ports, and have an additional boost port. They run really well. I can't complain about them. When i get my cylinders back from F.A.S.T., i am going to put another set of WSM pistons in them. I have seen more wiseco failures over the years than WSM failures (probably because EVERYONE runs wiseco's). But i have seen alot (maybe 5 or 6) of wiseco pistons that the ring locating pin has backed out and destroyed a motor. Could be from overheating, but they still shouldn't come out. you would think the piston would melt and sieze first. Just my opinion.
  16. It would only add a couple of OUNCES to the weight of the machine (just a button on the handlebars). And you don't need electric start either. Just start the engine like any other day. When you need reverse, just push the button. The engine will begin to stall and just before it stops spinning, the cdi will "backfire" the engine and start it back up in reverse. when you are done with reverse, push the button again and the precess repeats itself, restarting the engine in forward. The system works great on the sleds. No reason it wouldn't work on a 'shee too.The system should only intail a new CDI box and a button, so cost shouldn't be more than 250-300 bones. I would buy one, As zach45 said, MINT FOR TRAIL RIDERS!!
  17. It is definately possible... Polaris and ski-doo use an electronic reverse on all their 2-stroke snowmobiles. when you push the button, it basically stalls the engine, then restarts it running backwards ( this all happens within a second). Polaris even offers the system as a kit to update their older sleds without reverse. It probably wouldn't take too much to make the same type of system work on a banshee. I think the kit is just a new cdi, flywheel, and harness (and secondary clutch for sleds). The reverse system works great on sleds, so i don't see why it wouldn't work on a banshee too. sounds like a great idea to me.
  18. I am looking for a set of Paul Turner MIDS. They don't have to come with silencers. I need the pipes or complete w/silencers, whatever you may have. I bought a set from theshee, but they turned out to be High-Revs. (of course he made it right) but now, i still need some MIDS. Thanx
