  1. that or br8 eya i find they dont foul as much but thats MO but at 810ft and 22cc domes u should be able to run 100% pump gas no problem??? even with 21cc
  2. ok i got it off ... took a flat screw driver and pried it off went easier then i thought ... gear was fucked up its melted in the back. good thing i looked could of costed me alot of money, god knows how long its been like that lol.... anyways my buddy is selling me a gear for 10$ with a pin.. soo we can close this topics tx 2 STROKIN' for yur reply
  3. circlip and washer are off i know the gear sits on the pin and thats exacly was i cant take off is the gear
  4. i got a newer clutch cover with billet impeller. just took off my old one and im trying to take off the plastic gear, lil bastard seams to be stuck on there.. and i dont want to froce it out to much incase it breaks. plz help bikes apart right now. need it done by tonight
  5. best way to do it is put them on one by one and try it each time and u can really see the gains ..., makes it better everytime lol not judt all at once
  6. best mod i ever put on next to pipes. 110% worth it imho get a noss head, no stud change and one less 0-ring to mess around with ... i myself run a mod quad head but i got a good deal on it.. other then that ide have a noss head. from what ive herd dave noss is excellent to deal with
  7. from what ive been told 900-1100ft ya im sure thats not a problem. thats why i got 21cc, i thought i as at sea level.... no biggy back home is sea level i can use them for that.... ya im starting to get that sickness also soo i guess this wraps it up ppl. im gunna try and get 20cc. tx for all yur replys

  9. i got told up 155 psi yur good for pump on +4 timming. i thought i was at sea level thats why i got 21cc
  10. for sure u can fish it out. there's not much room in the crank case area anyway take off yur pistons iff there ont there, and start looking. is yur motor in the bike or is it on yur work bench??
  11. good to know. i gess im pretty spot on to specs then... i didnt advance my timming yet... actualy just got my puller in the mail today.... soo im goin +4 soo i think im gunna go head and start looking for 20cc dome and see what happpens tx again

  13. ok soo i just found out im at 1100ft elevation "only ive been living here for 3 years i didnt know"....im runing 21cc domes at 145psi on supreme. can i get away with 20cc at this elevation on supereme?? let me know
  14. wierd,,,,,,,, 2 1/2" off to the right, new 08 and never wrecked uh????.... this sounds stupid but could the axle have been instaled backwards??? never seen that befor and im not sure if its even possible... cuz the carrier is more off set to the right to begin with.. maybe the axle got put in on the wrong side from factory. are yur locking axle nuts to the left or to the right, looking at it from the back.. cuz there supaused to on the left.. maybe that could be it. but dought it. ive seen alot of stupid mistakes done by factorys... im just putting this outhere i dont even think its even possible. its just a thought
  15. like stated above im looking for some "MINt"!!!!,clean... and rust free!!!...pro circuit head pipes. dont really need cilencers.. mine are fine. just aren't as nice as they use to be....migth sell mine, they stilll look good. but not the best to my liking let me know

  20. mine was doin the same .. and i also tried 22.5 pilote and that was 20$ down the drain... turned out my slides were on the wrong side and my carb bowls were mixed up, one of them has a hole at the bottom for the choke feed. changed it up now it runs perfect isnt the top clip the leanest point of the needle?? the more is dropes down leaner it gets??? ya alot of sledders do this .. mainly because one side runs hotter then other ... dont remember if its tha mag side or pto side.......
  21. im running the same pipes at what i think is sea level. my set up is 240 mains, stock pilots, 2 turns out on air mixture screw ... also running pod filters.. mine has been running like this since the pipes were on. for about 4 years, i think. runs awsome, never blown. plugs look perfect also, nice carboard brown.. but dont take my word for it.... could be a good starting point. i say get 240s all the way to 270s in jet selection. try it out and do plug chops, and see whats best for u
  22. yamaha bolts are one itself just like hondas.. i myself am a allen bolt fan ....but dont realy use them on my shee... yur best bet is to be good buddys with a yamy tech ...2 of my buddys are yamy techs and they got boxes of those bolts from take offs ... even the yamy crates are full of metric bolts simular to oem.. bolt kit imo are good if u ad it all together u can save a good coin....
  23. cut the guy some slack... hell ive done it my self befor. and it works. sometimes yur in a bind and there is no time to run at yur dealer or whatever other place u need to go, or just stranded on a trip.. imo thats some good info not alot of ppl think about that....

  25. u can never go wrong with a d.i.d. Xring really tuff chain .. im using that and regular steel sprokets.. side winder is nice but$$$ if u want to dish out all that extra coin for a chain sproket combo giver... its yur choice
