[ ~edited for spelling~ The 2008 Banshee is not rare by any means. There are hundreds, if not thousands of them in Canada being ridden all the time. Finding one that has never been started, sat on, or scratched is another story. I posted it for sale on this site hoping someone else would appreciate the value of a new quad as opposed to a ridden one. I can't be the only person who thought it would be cool to have the last year of a legend in mint condition. i priced one out last summer. in sudbury ontario 8300 full of gas with new helmet out the door,, but i do know the sales man, changed my mind and kept my 2000 and boutght a truck. but im sure 9500$ out the door is possible.. good luck with the sale..

ya i had the same exact problem.. all i did was bend down my lever abit and shee was good to go.

im having the same problem also.. im also goin toward my carbs are running dry.. ever since i put .030 over jugs with porting its been doin this, and i went up 6 jet size.. ill keep jetting it .. i got everything from 180to460 jets im pairs for mikuni carbs

ya i need to make my own.. i can rule out electrica.l i swaped everything over once too see if it would make a diff.. and same story

yaa ill try it and see maybe its acting up with the porting but highly dought it... never herd of this befor.. unless gaskets werent used thought they were made for more velocity befor air gas mix enter the tranfers..... haha also to clear bigger carbs

im running pro circuit pipes . also reed spacers, cool head 21cc domes, 3* key(took it out and still the same ) been running 240's since day one with these mods, never had a problem with stock jugs stock carbs. plug chop was perfect... not to bad, tx. been really busy over the winter with my sled, and also workin on my new f150 to get more juice out of it. also work and all that crap lol but im back and tryin to get her ripping again did that also even replaced the caps , mag and pick up is good , i did switch over to diff electrical ... still nothing there... soo im stumped

i went up 6 sizes... 240 to 300... even tried 340's ran worst and still missed out on top.

ok .. last summer i semi blew my motor , the water jacket plug popped out on the pto side, overheated and i melted one ring on that piston. bike still had decent power, compression was down 160mag one side 100pto,... bottom line bike still ran good enough to whoop a 700 raptor... tore it down. put on a set of .040 over proted cylinders. i have no clue who proted these or what port work it has. they came out of a good strong running shee, that changed over to trinity stage 5 cylinders... compression was 150 both sides. bike started right up . i took her out for a quick boot to the end of my drive way and back. had good snappy power shifted 3 quick gears. parked it and called it a night. next day i take her out again.. starts right up.. go down the road up to 4th gear and droped the hammer. it pulled a bit and then started missing out on power more like popping soundon top end. took her back.did some jetting. went from 240 mains to 270.. went again. ran a lil better, but was still popping and missing out power. jetted 270 to 300 same thing again. tried lookin around found noting...... im gessing i need bigger carbs.. and that my float bowls empty out to fast..... i did try mikuni 30 mm i had kickin around with 25 pilote and 300 mains.. seemed too rich , but no miss on the power or popping. but i didnt have the right cable and carbs only opened maybe 3/4 way.. anyways ill start workin on her again, soon. any suggestions of what could be problem....?? like i said im gessing not enough gas flowing to the carb...

best i found for white plastic, is brake cleaner. works like magic... then i give it a coat of pledge and whipe it down.. clean and shiny . pledge also brings back any color to shine.

im at around 1100 ft.. running 21cc at 150 to 160 ish both cylinders. on 91 octane or 94 no problems here. best mod ive done soo far. will try 20cc and see what happens

ya im pickin up 330's 340's 350's (just to make sure i have them) and 360's.. but fuck thats sounds fat to me??? anybody ever had this problem and it was jetting??? ,, its the 2nd time i buy 40$ worth of jetting oh ya if anybody needs jets. i have all in pairs 190,200 x3,210,220,230,240'x2,250 260,270,280,290,300,370,400,410,420,430,440x2,450,460 soon to have 330,340,350x2,360 not sure what ill use.. probably have more i think 5$ a pair all are like new i paid most of them 4-5$ each i know this not for sale sec. but its in the topic....

hey a while back i blew my shee .. clutch side brunt on me just to say it was blown. but stil ran with one ring stuck... anyways....... buddy lent me some cylinders he had kickin around along with pistons.. these ones are ported and from what i can see they look like agressive porting.... well rebuilt her. jetted form 240's to 270. first to 6th gear comes realy fast. but it sputter's on top real quick even in between gears WO but bottom mid is insane droped some 300's in there and still does it but a lil better i find.. soo question is should i go bigger?? i have some 350's, 370's kickin around somewhere. or is there someting else i should look for?? clutch side pipe is a lil more bleu then the other.. crank seals?? compression is around 145 with 21cc domes.. i have pc pipes k&n pods, reed spacers, vforce 3, timming key (no its not sheared i even took it out), cool head 21cc, stock carbs stock clip 3rd notch, 2 turns out on screw, stock pilote, 300 mains. im baffled i shoulnd't need 6 sizes up for jets with porting??? ran fine for 3 years with 240's stock cylinder .020 over. plug chope was good also back then. now its a lil lite sorry for the long story, but. im tryin to let everyone know were im at, and whats been done tx

i have a mint shape stock head here make me an offer... i also have 2 stock cylinders one is mint other u might get away with a good honeing. there .020 over i have one good pro lite piston let me know if u want anything

i got a set of mikuni vm 30 ss 300 mm but dont have the cable and chokes....never got the cable and choke are being used...i can get chokes for 13$ each
