  3. wierd???? im looking at my clymer book and there is a cotter pin, castle nut ,washer,oil seal,collar,bearing,bearing retainer,and an other oil seal that holds it together?? why would u need a special tool fot that??unless u are talkin about the bearing retainer its self to take out the bearing??? that u need the special tool
  4. imo get a cool head.... worth every penny imo. best head mod hands down... ive shaved cylinder heads on sleds befor and never seen this much improvement compared to a cool head. chamber shape as to do with everything
  5. mine was doin the same the other day. i found that my tire spindle arm was loose , theres 2 allen head bolts holding the spindle a-arm to the spindle and the 2 hallen head bolts are tack weld also. the welds cracked on mine (poor welding job) i tighten them up good and she's fine now
  6. f$%k.......... i just ordered a puller today...... my shee is a 2000 and i think the fly wheel never got taken off befor........hope i dont have any problem like u guys had...... any other tips pullin it off ....

  8. not bad... i was thinkin of drilling mine from under instead of having it stick on on the other side.. just a thought.. were did u get the fitting ive looked everywere cant find them

  10. umm couldnt find the full size i actualy copy pasted this off an other avatar i saw years back i dought my dealler would let me open up the pkg ..... ill chek right on.. thats no biggy im sure i could fab a mount or sometin tx man soo now what about the rear brake line i can both
  11. ok i can get a good deal on some streamline ss brake lines but there the for a yfz 450 i can get front and back kits will these fit my banshee???even in general will it fit?? or are they gunne way to long?? let me know guys. they have 2 kits of each
  12. imo take the time and take it apart and dont risk it . i did that once wating on bearings and ruined my sproket hub and carrier in a 15 min ride. one day of riding missed, is better then spending more money then u needed to in the first place
  13. ive had the ideal cross my mind a few times also, on modding my own fuel valve i think the pingle is a rip off imo. 80$ for an 0n/off fuel valve with 2 oulets common.... only soo much gas can come out of a gas tank oulet, its common sence. any single outlet fuel valve, goin for one to 2 lines will slow down gas flow. soo basicly any twin outlet fuel valve will flow gas better .. dont mather if its a pingle or a moded stocker it will work......i think its a great ideal and it should work great good luck.

  15. really my shee shock is still good. but is starting to fade out a bit compared to a new one but doesnt bottom out just softer then i think it should be did u have the raptor shock mounted to yur shee??is the shock still good??does it fit ??
  16. 07 was red and black, 08 is same decal but orange and black looks pretty sick. are dealer already sold 5 soo far and there limited stock. from what i jave been told there wont be any 09's in canada
  17. its a long shot but take apart yur tumb throttle and lube and clean everything up good in there
  18. i have a 13t a 14t and a 15t soo far i like my 14t best. the 13t was alot better in tight trails. imo 12t would be to strong for nothing. front sprockets are pretty cheap migth as well buy a few diff. sizes and try them out. doesnt hurt to have spares either

  22. i had my slides on backward once and it did not idle right, but worked fine WOT
  23. i had the exact same problem. but i did more then one thing so im not sure witch of the following worked first i took everything carb related out. carbs , cable, thumb throttle, kept my bike "apart" front fenders and gas tank off. my needles were bent soo that could be one problem. i took my carbs apart top to bottom everything apart. all the jets pilote, main, air jet , float bowls, floats, float valve and seat, choke, mixture screw,needle/main nozzle...etc . i cleanded everything and scrubed the slide and slide way with a nylon scrub pad.. i rinced everything in boiling hot water, good trick if yur in a house. the water just evaporates.. i rebuild both my carbs with kits everything was included: needles, jets,mixture screw,float vales and seats, gaskets. put everything back together ajusted my floats to 20-21mm i made sure my cable wasnt snaging under my tank so i lightly zip-tied it in the middle of the tank to the middle frame tub, also made sure it wasnt twisted up or kinked. i had a moose thumb throttle and i put back my stocker. i had a feeling it didnt help.. i put on my carbs sync. them, and made sur they matched up to the carb windows at WOT. i put the tank back on and made sure of clearance to the cable. started her up and she asn't sticked again soo far "knock on wood" hope this helps sorry for the long chapter
