  1. were on the case are those plugs located??? ide like to know, and chek mine got any pics?? sorry for the high jack and newb question but this is something i think is good to know
  2. according to that part #'s should be the right kit. needle bearings fit right on, the sleeve bushing was the same length, ID and OD , plates washers were same ID, OD, and thickness, only the oil seals was a little thicker and wider then stock and diff. oil grooves .. i got them on as discribed above but i dont think it should off been that hard...
  3. i decided to do my swing-arm bearings today, and the local shop had an all balls kit in stock....i used there kits befor, and add good results. but never intalled the swinger kit befor. kit came with dust cap seals and spacers"washer type", the long bushing ,and bearings. everythign went great until i got to the dust cap seals.... i dont know if its me or what, or are the dust caps and seals really hard seat in??? i had a hell of a hard time puting them on. they were an extemly tight fit, as soon as i tried to tap the right side on of the swinger. "the side with the half welded stoper plate". the seal would pop out under it.. im suprised the kit didnt come with new dust caps, cuz there seals were way thicker and wider then the stock ones..... anyways i ended up taken my swinger bolt and use the old bearings as shims to press and sandwich the caps and seals on. but it worked after alot of strugle. did i miss someting or do someting wrong. cuz ive never sean something this hard to put on, that should be soo simple to do imo. let me know if uve had this problem befor, and how to adress it in the futur. the right side seal is still stickin out about 1/8" under the that stoper plate, but is still well seated
  4. bump, even if its a freend of a freend that has one let me know
  5. i want lift up my shee a little more someone must have a good rear shock for a 660 raptor kickin around let me know
  6. interested in a clutch are they just stock or does it have a clutch kti and basket???
  7. tx mullet man did a search didnt fidn anything... ey do u still have that rear grab bar i never herd back from u?
  8. i also have a set of those ,there good traction very graby. but also heavy. scene a few guys running kenda bear claws and love them thing is with these tires u get good traction, but doesnt handle as good as it should itp black water 20x12x9 shoudl be good also and keep the same profile
  9. word.... there some good stock tires also same as the 400ex
  10. razr are the best all around tire i find. i had a set but they arent my favorite. tried the razr 2s good hook up but find them really heavy. I razr are good and hook up as well but didnt get much time on them itp GNCC holeshots are just insane traction and soo far. they have lasted me a over a year and have maybe 3/16" thread missing. best traction i found soo far out of a sport tire. ide like to try the hook ups and kenda knarly xc but soo far my gncc tires are awsome and holding up strong to dirt, sand, gravel, clay, and pavement
  11. ahh man thats sicK looking, bet u it rides like a dream ... how much was the setup?? and how long are the shocks??
  12. from what i can tell. u just want the rear end and frame higher, kinda like putting a lift kit or someting. i heard one guy looking for a stock shee shock cuz he had a raptor shock and it sat to high.. maybe that could be someting to look into... or u could un bolt the rear shock at the top, lift the back end up. and see how much play u can work with. then make a lift kit like 4x4. dont even need to weld anything on just bolts and drilled flat bar. ive put lift kit and all my 4x4 and all were home made hope this helps
  13. anyones else can comfirm either 15 3/4 or 16 3/4?????lol. stockers are 14 1/2 and u can convert to yfz shocks. 15 3/4 ide beileve but 16 3/4 thats 2 1/4" u need to sqeeze in, in order to put them on......witch soudns insane to me for ball joints
  14. like it sais. ide like to know eye to eye lenght of the front yfz shocks
  15. were in canada? are u?? im in sudbury ontario let me know
  16. word, im pretty much at my limit for pump gas i think ill take yur word on that, ill try it soon enough
  17. hey sorry for high jack but how do u ajust yur reeds tension??
  18. ya thats in the cards also. i have a 4* timming key, i never instaled. from what i here ppl say they shear off??? witch i think is wierd cuz there pretty big in size, and ive put a timming key in my f6 and there 3 times smaller then the shees timming key and the f6 flywheel is about twice the size of shees. its been about 4 years now and it never sheared off... i think improper instalation or to much torq on the fly wheel would cause this.. i dunno?? but i would like to try it in but i dont have flywheel puller for my shee..... do i need that exact puller or can use a different automotive puller?? ya i think smokin crack would be cheaper to, but still would want more ..lol next thing i think, i would get a 4mm stroker out of it. i cant find a decent porting place around soo that sucks...
  19. believe me the addiction began way back with sleds and now starting with my shee. lol if i put as much effort in my shee as i do with my sled ill be broke on my ass lol
  20. first id like to thank everyone for there input on my coolhead questions, in the past month or soo ok soo i finally bolted on my mod quad cool head with 21 cc domes went from 120-5 psi to 145 psi compression. this is by far the best upgrade ive done on my shee so far. i dont know if its me or what but it really woke up my shee, i can pull my 5th hill climbing now. witch befor 4th was pretty mush boarder line with steepers. it flat out rips, giving me that rush i lost oh so long ago. anyways tell me if im over reacting cuz this is to good to be true. thanks alot again to everyone for there input on my questions
  21. i had a twist thorttle on my shee befor and never again. i whiped out pretty bad on a wheelie.. ive never had a sore thumb using the fliper..ever, even on my sno- sled pulling dual 38's flat slides... i guess its indurance from all the sno-x,u just get used to it imo. ive had alot of ppl ride my shee and sled telling me they have a sore thumb.... in yur case get an after market thumb throtle even a honda thorttle.
  22. like u said must of been a monday bike cuz this thing wasnt all its vamped up to be like u said
  23. call it bs all u want ..... ive seen it with my own eyes, kfx got the holeshot but after the banshee was gone.....guy riding the kfx was maybe 160lbs maybe .....and has mx background..... guy with the shee 175lbs beleive me wen i say this the kxf is the slowest of all 450s ive tried them all. kawi, suzuk. yamy. honda. ktm.polaris, my top favorite 450 is the ktm out of all, and for the fact the yfz is just to say faster then a stock shee just to say......we've all raced them for fun and seent he out come of each
