  1. Yup go with those for a good cheap upgrade. Got them on my 03 Big Bear and are a perfect white color. If you really want some light output, look into HID's, the manmade sun!
  2. "Go big or go home" as the saying goes, im addicted for life and no one can tear me away! :verymad:
  3. yeah there is a shaft seal that will solve your problem, all you do is slide the shaft out, pry out the old seal with a screw driver making sure not to gouge or scar the aluminum cases and put your new seal in then reassemble.
  4. they mainly use high temp masking tape. do a search for powdercoating in the appearance forum and on ebay. They sell a lot of stuff through a company called eastwood on ebay, i think, correct me if im wrong tho.
  5. I am also having this problem I am going to try and sync the carbs, then adjust the airscrews and see what it does, hopefully its a simple fix like that....
  6. haha yeah it was just laying there so i stuck it in and clamped her down. worked quite well!
  7. haha yup pretty much the same concept. i said screw buying a medical hand pump thing and just made one to work with the compressor with some fittings laying around my shop. your on the straight and narrow now, hope she holds!
  8. thanks for the link wacko, and loco for the pictures of your custom mount. looks like im gonna be doing some rewiring haha, just thought my cdi looked sloppy in the back and needed some options to clean her up. Thanks again guys
  9. heard a few people have done this, where do you all mount it as well as the regulator? Just want some good opinions, thanks.
  10. MSR makes some good levers and perches that i think you can get in a anodized black, and dg or roll design make some good bumpers and grab bars. oh and also ac makes bumpers and grab bars too.
  11. here is a few pics of my homemade leakdown tester. I got the plugs from Ace hardware, they are in the bolt and screw alse's.
  12. I think this guy may have your worlds fastest banshee beat, not for sure but looks like it could haul some ass! Take a peek http://hbombfilms.com/siteimages/published/dw_06_may.jpg
  13. First off welcome to your new home on the web, second, as everyone has made a good point above do the PC or T5 pipes, stator plate (cheaper than a whole new 250$$ CDI), K&N and remove that lid, Coolhead with about 20cc domes and you should see some damn noticable power!!
  14. alright sweet! everyone!
  15. Stay away from modquad they are cheap knockoffs that copy other companies ideas, they have been known to groove and break off the fins. prodesign is your best bet!
  16. alright ill grind the springs down, they are the springs in the carbs right? and ill lube up the cable with some wd40
  17. Is this a common problem on banshee's? My throttle is about three times as hard to push as my buddies 400ex, whats the deal!! maybe a new cable would help? any suggestions would be appreciated!
  18. you got the lid off that airbox? if so bump your jetting up to 340-330 and should solve your top end bog!
  19. haha that would be pretty funny, it would pry be a little front heavy and plow into the snowbank, lol.
  20. Bump!
  21. just run those screws in there, i was racing a couple weeks ago and no matter how many studs you use, you still slide, So just do about two per tire as said above and in the fronts keep the screws in the middle three lugs, thats the only contact you get on the fronts anyway. good luck if you want i can post some pics of my tires if you'd like
  22. You dont want to hook into that wire, it will damage the cdi in time. Hook it to the black with white stripped wire coming from the stock kill switchand the other wire on your kill switch to a good ground. Good luck.

I am looking for some nice used black radiator and tank shrounds. Then both front and rear fenders (fronts can be race cut) both in orange! If anyone has any info it would be great, thank you!
  24. everything they said above, and to test for holes in your floats just make sure you think they are empty and stick them in some water or gas and if they start to bubble and fill with gas, thats where your hole is.
  25. not much more than gas, spark and compression. other than leakdown test, but you said it was running before so it probably wouldnt be that.
