  1. Run a 35PWK it'll be fine. We have a bike in our group making 65HP with one. (His is a Graydon though.)
  2. Bolt on power valves?.....Boy, you match that up with a boost bottle and your really going to be on to something........ You know why cubs have a big flat spot at 5000RPM?......cause the dipshit that said that doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.
  3. uh....yeah...fail.....
  4. Graydon FTW!
  5. I don't understand. Your recommending people to use a company that sold you a cover that didn't make it 2 weeks till it had major holes in it? In your own words..."It was like the fabric was falling apart." I've got a car cover that's been out in the weather non-stop for 7 years with no damage to it at all....... I get that it's great that they sent you a new one......but if you stored your trailer outdoors again....would it last more than another 2 weeks? Is the replacement a totally different fabric?
  6. I'd respond....but your post is a shotgun of info....for me to cover all that territory would leave yamahaman and loco busting my balls because I wrote a paragraph. So I guess I'll let them answer it somehow...... (I've been keeping them shorter you two...you could cut me a break once and a while.) LOL
  7. He's starting to reming me of Colby who shot this zinger at you. ?coming from the suspension guy ?? lol do you know anything about an engine?
  8. I had a friend who powdered his bike in a weird green. I came by to look at the frame after he got it back and it looked like shit in his garage with his florescent lights. He said it looks great out in the bright sun! I said....well it spends 95% of it's time sitting here in the garage.....if it looks like shit inside...your not going to like it 95% of the time. He let the frame sit for 2 months...then it went back for some metallic overlay in a clear coat. LOL Looks alot better then. So I just had to kid you.....I'm sure it will look great. (He did white plastics with it and it really popped!) It's the green bike in the DuneTV video on this website. http://www.illinoispowersports.com/content/
  9. Possum, you gotta work on your vocabulary....... You had a vague understanding of camber and caster (though you confused the two) and were completely in the dark regarding rake. Now your talking shots at Matt about HIS knowledge of alignment? THE GUYS BUSINESS IS SUSPENSIONS! DUH Read more......talk less for a while. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd4VkBcG2PQ
  10. The OOF pipes were designed for alky The SB In-Frames are the best pipe for your motor. Your light years ahead of the game now that Titan did your domes. As for Trinity porting....that's mostly just hogging out the transfer tunnels. But at least with the domes you can keep O-rings in the motor. LOL
  11. So........It'll never look good in a picture?
  12. I was at last years SL HQ ride....but you all want to go a different weekend than last year because of the long travel event. (I'm on race gas and not faster than Lindsay yet, so I've got nothing to prove.) LOL I'm just posting "For Sure Dates" that I know our group will be going on so any site members that are looking to plan a trip can see when others might be going. We meet new people every year that way. (Frankthetank and his brother met up with us last year as well as 421alkybanshee and they were all really cool to hang with.) I'm going to try to make the Labor day ride....but my ride group doesn't do big weekends because in the past the holiday weekends are a little too dangerous. (Most of them are Duners not draggers) Plus all the hassle as far as the parking lot. Working on getting a newer truck with 4 wheel drive so I can go it alone easier. Then I can go any time my schedule permits.
  13. I'll tell you to skip that idea and just get some UPP intakes.
  14. Mike did you talk to Bucky about planning to make a Silver Lake trip? I've been talking to emtbanshee, 421alkybanshee, hazzardbanshee and a few others about hitting some of these dates. "Doug" might be bringing his big crew out of Canada for some trips this year. (He's another guy with a big crew.....I think last time we met up with them they brought 15+ people down.)
  15. How many do you need? Drop major coin on a new stock unit...or buy this one. Your call.
  16. Diggler...you know your wife won't let you look at tits. Hers or any other. You just stick to looking thru catalogs that get delivered to the house.
  17. Well your lucky there. Wait till they wire your town for phones and computers......then when the local courts figure out they can fund the police and court system with the sale of all these items in the impound....you'll be singing the same tune as the big city folks. Till then be thankful your living in Mayberry. Next time your walking your pig into town....Head on down to the sherifs office and give him one of your prized chickens as a thank you. LOL Oh...take note! If he had taken it out of the area...you would never have gotten it back. So...luckily you were only robbed by a local. That's the nice part about living in the country......you only get victimized by people close to you.
  18. We all stand up..... He sleeps hanging upside down!
  19. Trinity = Get new domes....if Trinity did yours, they are shit. Then get Shearer SB In-Frames. Do a search...I've posted novels about Trinity and the P.V. motors. They need major work.
  20. The Nology coil and wires is THE COIL to run. Go for it.
  21. Nope. Big family wedding. (Wife is in the bridal party) I'll be up celebrating at the family farm in Wisconsin that weekend. (See what I mean about getting your dates on the calendar first?) LOL Plus we have been going that July 20th weekend for over 15 years. (I think it's only rained on us that weekend twice in all that time) Just because the long travel guys picked it, doesn't mean our group is going to bail on that weekend. It's damn hard to find a weekend that works for up to 20 people year after year. LOL Your going to more than just the one HQ ride aren't you?
  22. Only 4 guys showed to more than 60% of the races! So these amazing race results are only against 4 guys! He's the only dude in the series that really took it seriously. We're supposed to marvel at his results? Hell I make more appearances at the track for test and tune than some of the guys in this series actually raced. LOL How many years have these pipes been out now? (Notice: He's also NOT running the In-Frames...so we're still talking about a pipe custom built for this motor.) But seriously....How long has this pipe been out now?...and we only hear about ONE guy who beat 4 others at his local race track. WOW...so Jim and Gary didn't beat a single person at the HQ ride....and Brad (Banshee332) has beat 4 guys. Stunning results.
  23. Coming from a guy who asked THIS just less than a year ago.......WTF do YOU know about engines? Colby Posted on 01 April 2012 - 07:57 PM Hey guys, this is the first time ive attempted to tackle a complete banshee build. Not totally sure what i want to do yet. Im leaning towards a stock stroke/bore cheetah cub. Im sure i will have a ton of questions that the clymer will not cover. Already have CPI s/b inframes, 34mm PJ's, K&N clamp on, Pro Design Cool Head, V-Force 3. Bike had 18cc domes in it, has been having pump gas (91 octane through it) since i was told it has always been ran on pump gas. Didnt notice any pinging, but the tops of the pistons are blackened and rough. Altitude is at around 3100 ft. I will not be running race gas through the bike so I think im gonna go with 20cc domes. (custom cut for cub heads most likely) Heres a few pics of what ive gotten done so far today. Now im gonna have to look into the clymers before I go any farther. Are the top of the pistons supposed to be that black? And they are textured rough. Is this normal?
