  1. Your Rolodex????
  2. LOL Matt knows how big his motor is. LOL (New member - 27 posts - we'll just let this one pass) But good answer.
  3. No we haven't......maybe he should post some pics of what he's going to try to out do. But without pics of anything......it's kind of a fail. Not knocking the guy....just the post. LOL SPRINGER, you've got time to burn. Crawl over to the camera and upload some pics of his current ride for us to drool over.
  4. Doug, after our chat...I'll put together a list of stuff for you. You'll have that tiger under control in no time.
  5. I re-read it in 1 min 14 seconds. If reading a post filled with real quality commentary on an issue needs to be shorter....then your not going to get much info. You can't get an education with cliff notes. I was posting about real world info on the Snipers (In the Shearer/Sniper post) a lot sooner than many. I took a lot of grief from some people back then, but it looks like some of them are starting to realize that the info was for real. Matt has clearly heard about some of the efforts to do damage control regarding bad results and the lengths they will go to in keeping those results away from public display. Besides.....Remember, SPRINGER is laid up in bed for a while and has nothing to do but scan all the latest happenings on BHQ. So at least SOMEBODY has the time to read a paragraph.
  6. We've had Pro Circuits on a built 4 mill dyno at a peak RPM of 11,400. Don't get me wrong...it was in over rev and not making much for power at that RPM. LOL But they CAN rev that high. 12,000 on FMF's though.....No.
  7. Did a grown man say this? ........Really?!?!?!? (NOTE: We need to add a smiley to the selections. We don't have one that represents "Flabbergasted".) I'm afraid that some small child has made his way around the parental controls and is posting in place of an adult. From the weakness of the comebacks I'm guessing age 8-10. (I have a 10 year old, so I'm familiar with that stage of development.) This can't be the same grown man who is capable of using his words to win people over and convince them to buy his pipes based on his apparent knowledge......... Could it be some childish second personality that takes over to protect the adult personality when it's threatened or under stress? You posted at one point that " A mid sized DM works for us....Mine's a 14." Would you be so kind as to inform me as to exactly where you use this 14DM and what you use it for? This site has many members and this community can actually be a pretty small world in terms of people knowing each other. So I was wondering if ANYONE has seen you ride ANY MACHINE of ANY KIND since last years HQ ride where you clearly appeared to chicken out of any chance to race against the one guy you claim to be able to make 10 more HP than? Has any site member gone riding with this guy? Maybe met him while out in the big world and got to know him? I mean....Where does a 14DM "Work for you?" Why are you talking about 14DM's when your In-Frame pipe is the product you tried to push so hard before? Why aren't you racing Shearer's OOF bikes with your In-Frames to prove their strength. Maybe instead of randomly calling out for any Sniper owners to post time slips and videos of bikes with your pipes beating Shearer pipes.......maybe YOU should! I'll really look forward to the link to the DUNETV video for the 2013HQ ride. I'm sure it will have really nice quality video of you getting whooped on by More than just Matt Shearer. (We should make it a sticky in one of the sections. Maybe the Humor section.) How can you justify talking to Matt like that? MattSCSS I mean.........Not Matt Shearer. How can you even justify the things you say about Matt Shearer? (WOW...you must really have a thing about guys named Matt.) As for what to run in a builder race.....Matt Shearer hit the nail on the head....."I build motors that fit in stock cases with no epoxy, because my 4 mill runs so strong everyone is going to claim it's a 10 no matter what I say" So at that HQ ride he brought a 4 mill cub and a 10 mill cub. Make the racing easy to prove....No Jockeys, No wheelie bars, NO EPOXY and run whatever cylinder you want. You can tell the cylinders just by looking at them and one look under the bike will tell you if the crank is bigger than 10 mill. In a race without wheelie bars....I'd put my money on a Matt Shearer 10 mill Cub over a Passion/Sniper 10 mill DM any day. (End the rider weight talk now....you have 9 months!.... If you want it Bad enough...P90X your way to a win.)
  8. SNIPERS ROCK! ....... the best damn potato gun I've ever seen. Guaranteed to launch your Spud Nugget 10Ft farther than any home built PVC gun. Not available in stores...(cause nobody will carry our shit) So buy direct. Call and speak to a Spud Resonance Professor today. Call 1-800-SRP-POSE or 1-888-SRP-TALK
  9. Were you running them on a meth motor? Because the gas motors all needed to go one size larger on the pilots. If you didn't tune to them....you might not see the possible gains. Either way....bump for a great sale price on new reeds!
  10. Right! Short stories with pictures.....your kind of read. I bet you listen to books on tape too. One thing I'm sure you DON'T do...........Ride.
  11. Really? Is that the best you got? If your not going to actually respond to comments.....Then you better brush up on your snaps there.
  12. Planet Sand races are the NHRA of Sand drags. No different than horse racing.....you hire the top jockey if you can because every little detail counts. Look a little closer....know what else you'll notice? Not one of the 15 records you referenced is a Passion motor or running Sniper pipes.........so look at it this way, you have ALL the pieces of the puzzle you need to be multi-record setting champs in 2013! You have the top builder ever! You have pipes that make 10 more HP than any other pipe on the market! You have the most knowledgable tuner in the game! AND NOW (with the minute of research you did) you know the name of the jockey to hire! Go on out there and shut all those Muthafuckers up! Besides, what's with all the jockey chatter? Matt showed up to race against "Team Talk" AKA Passion/Sniper and he brought a 4mill cub and a 10 mill cub to the party with his off the shelf pipe design. He was personally ready to run Jim/Gary head to head. (No jockeys or excuses.) He openly stated he'd put his ass on his 4 mill up against your 10 mill and was willing to let the world see the results. He brought 2 bikes and they ran hard all weekend on your home turf. You all showed up with your bikes and apparently they broke in the trailer drive there???? Because I don't remember seeing any videos of them running at all. (I hate when that happens....you wake up early on race day...scratch your belly...stretch too hard and blow the tranny out of the bike before you even fire it up.) I guess it happens. Funny thing is........ I would have thought you could have put those awesome looking +10HP Sniper pipes on ANY of the 4-10 mill bikes out there and still beat Matt............ But you didn't. So what are you more afraid of? Matt the motor Builder, Matt the Pipe builder, Matt the Chassis builder or Matt the Jockey? Because so far I think the only Matt your bike has run with, was the floor mats of your tow vehicle....and I think even those were ahead the whole time. LMAO I'm all for Tyler (or site members) planning their own world series of drag racing. I'm even more in favor of seeing Jim/Gary show up and clean house with all their mad skills!
  13. OMFG!!! Yeah...were those found while diving somewhere? I've seen parts diving on wrecks in the Great Lakes that were cleaner. Ice can be a powerful force....Maybe that's what happened. The Rubbermaid tote he had them in sitting outside froze year after year until they ended up like that. I started thinking.....Hurricane Sandy...but No, it's in Flint. New listing : Two used aluminum flower pots for sale. LMAO
  14. Keep the 39's, deck the base of the cylinder to lower the timings slightly, adjust the final set-up with base gasket thickness, then get custom domes cut and your cub will make power all across the curve. You have all the pieces....you just need to have someone other than Trinity in charge of setting it all up. LOL
  15. No need to go nuts. Send the motor to a good builder.(like REDLINE) Cubs can be set up to make plenty of low end with some slight changes. Cosmetics are just that....cosmetic. Everything can be brought back with a little effort.
  16. I believe the Moose unit is made by Electrosport. The Moose unit is nice looking, but I would still go with Evan's unit. It's even sturdier looking and you can't beat the price.
  17. I'm going to take a wild guess and go with.......Wilkes Barre PA.
  18. The one I'm testing has worked fine. (I got one right after he started this post) So far I haven't heard anyone having an issue with the stator. I'm recommending them because nothing else other than stock is worth dropping coin on....and stock is crazy expensive.
  19. WOW.... Not what I said at all. So...do you beat EVERY 421 cub? Did your 392 beat Matt Shearer's 421? Did Cam's 480-535 beat Matt's 465.....no. Can't seam to disscuss
  20. Keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile I'll wait to see YOU gain enough knowledge to be able to write a book about a topic. Till then....stick to The Hardy Boys books.....It will be ab easier read for you. LMAO
  21. Right and that's why dyno numbers are what I like to see because we don't know what kind of porting was done to each build.....does the motor have custom domes....is the pipe working well with the combo...etc. Who assembled the motor doesn't take into account what was done. Nor does it speak to the owners tuning ability.(and I'm not just talking about carb tuning. I'm talking about the total bike.) My wife's 65HP 370 Long rod bike with 28's and FMF's kicks the ass of this one 421 cub with PWK35's and T-5's. Built by same builder.....but I'm not calling her bike a cub killer. LOL
  22. No, you would have to be able to read it. So obviously I'd be wasting my time....
  23. Ok, relax...this is not part of what I was trying to say. We always go down this road so let me address this point of view. I will openly admit that I'm well aware of the reputation of the P.V. motors Cam has built. Cam's bike as well as yours do run very strong. But you need to understand that your P.V. motors are at the top of the pile when it comes to set-up. So when people say (sic) My 392 will beat many 421's........Well ask yourself if the 421's your so happy to beat are as well set-up as your motor. That's what I'm talking about. It's hard to really say your motor is strong, if your not sure if the other guy is actually weak. So I do like to reference the use of a dyno, simply to get a picture of how and where a motor makes it's power and how much. Every time I read someone post that "I have seen lower HP bikes take out bigger HP bikes" I just can't understand how that is a good argument. That doesn't mean that the dyno info means nothing......it only proves that bike set-up can be worth a lot. It's like your admitting that the bike with less power can still win. That doesn't mean dyno tuning a bike is all for ego. It means the guy with the higher HP bike needs to spend more time working on his chassis set-up, gearing choice, tire selection, etc. I'm also not bashing power valve motors in general. There are plenty of examples of other style P.V. motors out there that actually run better with P.V.'s in them, but the issue with the cheetah (As was covered by Calvin himself in volfan's quote) is about the size and shape of the intake port/reed on the cheetah. So (and this is the important part here) I'm NOT saying YOUR P.V. motor is weak or lame or unable to run......I'm saying that if you put as much time and talent into a Cub motor as Cam did on your Cheetah motor....the Cub will have more power across the board. (Low end Torque as well as Top end HP) The other part of the P.V. debate is about the motor being able to recover faster when you lift off the gas and get back into the throttle. (As many of the coal hill climbers out eats talk about.) I won't muddy the waters of this conversation by spending time on that because the OP was asking about 500Ft drags, so lifting off the throttle is irrelevant in this case. (But I don't see Tyler running P.V. motors on any of his hill climbers.......)
  24. In another post you just advised a guy to buy a 485 for 500 ft drags...now your asking this? Here is an idea.....KNOW something before you go passing on advice.
  25. I love the second video at 1:23....catching air at 85MPH!
