  1. Hey you know what?....Your right! He doesn't have a Passion built motor. He's a big Herr Jugs fan. He doesn't have any content recommending you. I mistakenly remembered him as having a Serval built by you. Sorry. I stand corrected. Know what else he doesn't have?........Snipers! ROF....LMFAO! So what we have here is a guy who doesn't really own a set of Snipers.....he's just a Shearer hater. OK, that clears that up. I KNEW you two had something in common. So I mistook him as supporting Snipers....he's just bashing Shearers. I'll remember to double flush after his next post on the topic.
  2. No, he's stepped up to a Serval. (Guess who built it?) So since he now has something more than a stock cylinder and pro circuit's/T-5's....he thinks his combo is just the shit! No dyno numbers. No back to back testing of different pipes. I don't know....maybe he stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night......... But either way, he read all the advertising that Gary and Jim could put out there and the kid swallowed the hook. He paid top dollar for the In-Frames and now he's on here drinkin the Kool-aid and spitting lame sarcasm.
  3. Posting up the dates that our group will be going to Silver Lake this season. We love to add to the group and if any of these dates look good to you...feel free to plan to join us. Many fellow HQ members are already making plans to be there for some of these dates. June 7-8-9 We're staying at the Silver Lake Resort and Campground July 19-20-21 ^^^ same as above ^^^ August 16-17-18 ^^^ same as above ^^^ September 20-21-22 We're staying at the Sierra Sands Resort (Off peak rate, but still have the Jacuzzi available for post ride party.) None of these rides are official "HQ rides", but we have been going these same weekends for 15+ years and the weather is always pretty favorable. I always post these so people who need lots of lead time to get off work can get them on the calendar early. GET YOUR RIDE DATES ON THE CALENDAR NOW BEFORE SOMEBODY DECIDES TO DRAG YOU TO A LAME BLOCK PARTY/KIDS BIRTHDAY/GRADUATION/CO-WORKER WEDDING!!! Everyone is welcome to join up with us, just post if your planning on making it.
  4. ^^^ This is called "Desperately Grasping at Straws" ^^^ It comes when one suddenly finds themselves victims of their own doing. After spending top dollar to buy pipes that are universally found to be lacking in the promised performance levels....he also comes to the stark realization that he's not been offered a refund (Because knowing no better, he has mistakenly gone on record as liking his purchase) and he's been offered no "payoff" to keep quiet about the poor performance (Because he has no actual proof that his pipe are working well......let alone poor, so he is no threat.) This is the customer known simply as "The Blissful Idioit". He's riding the most powerful machine he's ever owned and mistakenly feels that all of his components represent the pinnacle of performance in the industry. It is useless to try to talk sense to this person, as they are in much the same trance as a young man who is laid for the first time. He thinks what he has now is the best thing ever and nobody is going to tell him different. Colby, enjoy your Snipers and take pride in the belief that you are far smarter than anyone gives you credit for.
  5. Your also going to end up with a tighter squish. So you better check it before you just fire up the motor. You don't want your pistons and domes playing Patty-Cake.
  6. LMFAO Your right! But hey it's his sandbox....you get him mad and he's going to take his toys and go home. It like when women get PMS...you can't change it....you just gotta deal with it. LOL
  7. Funny?....... No, most of us are willing to help or teach just about everybody. But I don't think any of us are trained to teach Special Ed.
  8. And don't thump your chest and try to out talk Dave. If your going to have a war of words with him you better have a list of facts and at least be able to hold your own as far as knowledge goes. And just as a side note......Dave's going to have a field day with this question you posted in another section.... possum HQ Soldier Members 820 posts Posted Today, 02:51 PM whats the difference from cleanup, dune port, drag port... on a cheetah or a cub? im curious to what is your guys opinions? 9. Why always an exclamation point at the end of what you say? It's your post......why are you on the defensive? Does Dave have you "On Tilt"? I'm not saying anyone is talking shit........(Well Dave is obviously. LOL) ....But some of us know more than you might think we do about stuff. So take that into consideration before you go trying to tune MATTSCSS up about something.
  10. This is a fresh motor guys, with updated piston design for cheap rebuilds. Bump for a great seller who even posted killer video.
  11. MATTSCSS Talks to Mat Shearer pretty often possum. So do alot of us. You might come up from time to time........
  12. Or as is the case in many situations, once the machine is paid for you get a bill of origin. They it's assumed the the buyer would want a title to prove he now fully owns the item. BUT....many states charge all the sales tax for the purchace at the time of the title transfer. So many people don't bothet because they want to skip paying the tax. Regardless.....everybody says "My state doesn't issue titles" and they are just passing on bad info. ALL STATES ISSUE TITLES. WITHOUT A TITLE, IN THE EYES OF THE LAW YOU DON'T OWN YOUR ATV. Now here is something you should all try to keep in mind.......the frame is the ATV. Everything else is parts. So your safest move is to strip your bike to bare frame, then take it to the state to have them generate a title for you.....that way if there are any problems, your only out a frame. Not an entIre ATV. Real Facts and Good Advice. FREE! ....Your Welcome.
  13. Geez Dave, your getting as long winded as Windy.
  14. I broke a +6 duning. It was 3 years old at the time. But it's not like I'm out skying and catching air. It was almost all sand action. My buddy Bill broke his +6. He bought his 1 year after I did and his broke 2 years after mine. Both were the stock carrier style. I asked about warranty and was told one year. To be honest, I didn't really want a new arm because if it broke once....why would I trust it a second time? Plus I was ready to get a real swing arm with the round carrier, so I just moved on. (For what I paid for it new, it was no big loss.) Mine was a full blown failure. I got pics of the bike at SL sitting with the bike all dropped like a drag bike. (I didn't get hurt but my weekend was trashed.) I was drag racing Dozer520 and toomeysheeLE when it happened. Bill's arm started showing the signs mine did of the cracks in the paint around the areas I had problems with. So Bill had a chance to do something before it fully broke. He added gussets to the shock mount to help deflect some of the twisting forces. (Come to think of it...he might still have it sitting in his garage) But those arms are so inexpensive, that if they break....is it worth it to pay to ship the broken one out and pay for shipping on a free one if it is still the same design that broke? I had talked to Rich once at the BP up at SL before the swing arm failure......he's a cool guy. I don't have any ill will against him. (It's not like he's Harry at Trinity. LOL) But in this post I described the little flaw in the overall design.......but when you sell thousands and have a jig all set up.....is he really going to change everything up? He should go a little thicker on the wall thickness of the square tube, make the round tubes pass all the way through the square tube and then weld all those points. It would transfer load to 50% more area. I'm not really trying to personally bash Rich here. I feel these arms have a place in the market. I'd rather see some kid with too little cash buy one of his arms, rather then some bolt on extension plates. But for very little extra, you can get a full chromoly arm from Stellar, JL, and many other builders that will hold up to everything you can throw at them. I'm just stating that they can and do break. After getting my arm from him, it looked and felt SO STRONG I couldn't imagine it failing. (That was one of the reasons my buddy Bill bought the same arm.) But I didn't realize they had a wear factor shorter than a factory swing arm. Dave I hope you understand.... I'm only trying to share info. Honestly I'm like you on this one. At this point you couldn't PAY me to run a stock carrier on any of my machines. LOL So to me, buying anything that still uses that stock design is a waste of money. I say go all in with a full chromoly and round carrier...or wait till you can. But if an Ebay arm is in anyone's future....just keep an eye on it for safety's sake. Inspect it after every ride. If you see any cracks in the paint at all.....get another arm fast.
  15. Yes, her place is in the kitchen.......the rest of the house (including laundry) is Paulie's responsibility.
  16. You are issued a bill of origin. After that you use it to generate a title with the state. Many states don't require that you get a title. But the court determines ownership by title. So you can have sale after sale go down, but if your machine is stolen....in the eyes of the law, you were never an owner. You just had it with no legal proof that you owned it. If that machine you bought with a "Bill of sale" was at any point in it's past listed as stolen......your Bill of sale only proves you guilty of receiving stolen goods. This topic was covered in depth on Planet sand when Hooper's drag quad was stolen. He had bill of sale and the bike had custom painted graphics with his name on them. He had pictures of the quad from past years with him winning trophy's, pics of the bike as he was building it, people who would vouch for it having been his......but he had no title. He brought all his proof in and was actually CHARGED WITH A CRIME! (In Michigan it's illegal to have an ATV without serial numbers. His was a custom drag frame that didn't have any.) All he did was prove that he had possession of an ATV without serial numbers or a title. So he had to defend himself in court. Then the police sold his machine at public auction. (Ironic as it is that they themselves sold an ATV without a serial number, thereby committing a crime.) I'm not talking out my ass guys. I've researched this quite heavily. You may not be required to have a title in your state. But ALL STATES WILL ISSUE A TITLE. Without one....the court will not except a bill of sale as ownership. It's only proof of payment. (possession is nine tens the law) So your "Bill's of Sales" only protect you from the seller claiming you never fully paid for the agreed transaction. If you never got a title in the transaction, then you got screwed because that's the document that proves YOU now own it.......not anyone else. Let's put it this way. I could load your quad in the bed of my truck and drive off with it. You call the cops and tell them I stole it. They catch me 1/2 mile down the road and arrest me and take the quad into custody. (they impound it) Wether I'm charged with a crime or not...your not able to prove that you have legal rights to the quad without the proper documents. (A title) So your fucked. So that's my point guys. Your not REQUIRED by law to get a title for your ATV.......but before you drop thousands in mods on one...you sure should WANT a title.
  17. True till you prove otherwise. http://www.dmv.org/in-indiana/other-types-of-vehicles.php#Titling-a-Snowmobile-ATV-or-ORV
  18. Not all states require that you title an ATV but ALL states will issue a title. If you don't have a title....you don't OWN your ATV....your just in possesion of it Now that his ATV is no longer in his possesion and is in Police inpound....he will need to show a title to get it back. If he has no title....the only way he will get it back will be if he buys it back at the Police auction.
  19. A guy named "spotty" asks about his machine spitting specks of oil out the tailpipe...... Sounds like it's his machines time of the month..... Spotty's machine is spotting. Time to change the packing. LOL
  20. I'm sure somebody will disagree with this statement.....But ALL Banshee's come with a title and ALL states require a title. (If a bank is able to lend money to buy it....there is a title somewhere.) You may not be REQUIRED to get the title after buying a new Banshee......but in every court of law, a bill of sale only proves payment....NOT OWNERSHIP. If you don't have a title.....you DON'T OWN THE QUAD. You may have possession of a quad, you may even have proof you paid for a quad. But you don't have OWNERSHIP of anything and that little difference makes a WORLD of difference when the shit hits the fan. If the cops find "Your Quad"...you still need to PROVE the quad is yours. The only document that establishes ownership is the title.
  21. Duh.....Female nude model.
  22. LMAO Way to go. Talk about "Owned"...... The only way to "Own" that guy any harder would be to copy this post and have it signed by a Notary Public. Then it would be official. LOL
  23. I agree....I just couldn't bring myself to say it. LOL OK they can get ONE item right..... But I did take mine to a church and clense it of all the bad voodoo.
  24. Just to clearifiy - We did a set of the 4 mill jugs and they degreed out at 198/132. If the jugs you have are for a 10 mill crank, they might have different timings. But as I recall, this style cylinder comes with timings set pretty high.
