The first number is the diameter the second is the width. So if you are using the same tires a 9x8 rim will work. And most likely they are going to have a 3+5 offset. Which means that you have 3 on the inside and 5 on the outside. These will probably make your back end a little wider.
Any oil that has JASO MA or JASO MA2 specs on the bottle is ok to put in for your gear oil. This is the wet clutch approved spec. Royal Purple syncro mesh is ok to put in there.
I have run 14 41 and 15 41 with 20" paddles at Silver lake. The 15 41 was much better. I was even considering going to 16 41 but ended up getting 22" paddles. I still have not yet got to run the paddles so I don't know what my final gearing will be.
Changing one tooth on the front sprocket is usually about a 5 mph change. If you have enough power to turn the gear ratio to overcome drag.
Here is just something that compares hp req'd to go a certain mph to over come drag. This is not exact. I dont know the frontal area of a banshee or the drag coef. I estimated to my best ability. It just shows if you gear correctly if you machine as (x) hp you should be able to do (y) speed.

When? Last weekend? today? Three weeks ago they were very nice. There was an east wind (dont see that much) and it smoothed out all of the ruts everywhere.
This was my last setup except just a stock head. No problem beating the 450's. Probably the cheapest of all the ways listed. A +4mm stock cylinder and a serval would have no problem beating them (and would have more power) but also cost more.
I would not say i am sure because it is personal preference to a point. I would say get a 14 and 15 tooth front and see what you like better. Front sprockets are cheaper than rears and changing 1 tooth in the front is like changing ~3 in the rear.
I have a question. If you are going to buy new cylinders AND pay to have them ported my guess would cost around $600-$700 (~$250 for cylinders and ~$350-~$400 for the porting and shipping for each) why not just buy aftermarket cylinders that are ready to go aka a serval?
It has to be a base spacer that he is talking about. He was talking about coolant going to the case. I don't recall off hand about the doll pins either. I will look when I get home I have my top end off.
I run a 15/41 on my 421 serval with 20" tires and I like the way it feels. Yes it is sand so it is a little different. I say try both 14/41 and and 15/41 see what you like. Front sprockets are only like $9.
On my ported 350 I had a problem with it slipping. I replaced with an hd clutch and it did not help. I then replaced the inner and outer pressure plates and problem solved.
I just recently upgraded to a 4mm serval and had the same slip issues. I tried replacing everything bc it worked last time. It didn't. Long story short it could be just too much power. I ended up getting a under cover lockup from vito's. I love it. I should have done this a long time ago.
