  4. I dont know anything about the pingels but I dont see why someone couldnt modify something to work as good if not better,.Im game, lets see some pics please.
  5. Dont know about the price differences but around here you could pick that up for 2000-2500.00 I know your prolly anxious to get another but dont rush it, your always going to find a better deal. I also think you would be better off with stock, but thats just my opinion, plus if it was that good of a deal it prolly would have been sold by now seein that Canadarider looked at it a month ago. Good luck with the purchase I hope you get a good one.

  9. Yep ebay refurbs you cant beat the price and one year warranty I wasnt as lucky as fouledout though I payed 31.00 for my c5 with purch, well worth it. I think the red or black would look sweet on that bike.

Tell ya what if you dont get it fixed today Ill send you a pair of my old carbs they worked fine, just one of the ears on/or under the cap is broke off no big deal you can prolly replace with yours I think, just give me your addy and pay for shipping when ever you can. I checked your first post your prolly rich if anything but didnt see altitude. Oh yea they still have the tors attached with cable, so one way or another it should take car of it.
  13. That was my first thought but when I heard it run it really didnt sound like it but hell throw your lid back on or do what ever to richen it up temporarly. It that doesnt work I think I would pm dajogejr he could prolly figure it out.

I know it shouldnt matter but why not throw the dynojet needles back in for the hell of it and see if there is any change, and check the return springs its got to be something simple that you tinkered with when you done the mods. Do you have a slight bit of slack in the throttle cable? This sucks I know, something like this seems so minor but tuff to figure out, hope you get it soon.
  15. Check the springs in the top of the carbs/throttle cable ball, make sure not in a bind.

  19. Time flies dosnt it, didnt I see some other bikes there in the garage and the driveway you could get rid of instead. I was waiting to see this thing put together, but not under these circumstances. If you gotta, good luck!

  21. Yea its a little low but whats your elevation? Plus you said you just finished your bike what exactly did you do to it just the new carbs or what, did it just start doing this all a sudden or did you do anything new to the bike when it started acting up?
  22. No doubt loosen it, you dont want to take any chances I always put all my weight on the rear as Im adjusting my chain to make sure its not going to be to tight when I jump or ect;
  23. Did it sound like it was fireing ok on that side running decent or did sound like it was starving for fuel, fuel lines delivering ok to both carbs? Im sure more help is on the way.
  24. That was very, very well put, I dont have the experience of a ported motor yet but all the reading I do on here adds up to 'port work' if you want your banshee to haul ass! Nice assessment Josh
