  2. Dont know your elevation but your prolly way to fat on your mains. Is that a k&n in air box or pods? put clip on 3rd or 4th groove and air screws 1 1/2 out from being seated lightly. You were prolly closer with the 320s... still depending on your ele.
  3. Got some nice blue annodized nerfs to go with those arms, like new one ride on them, decided to go different route. $90 shipped or trades??????????? PM me with trades. Cant't see them very good, buy if your interested I could get better pics.
  4. Welcome to the BHQ, I would go ahead and upgrade to 28s Keihin or 30mm oko keihin knock offs thats what I have and quite a few other guys. You can get them off ebay or just call them but you'll get them cheaper by bidding anywhere from 180.00-250.00 usually shipped. Carb parts warehouse....216-635-1099 That comes with cables and all you need to swap them out. Sounds like your cable poped out the slide of the carb, pull the 2 slides out of the carbs and see if theiy both look the same way.

  10. "No filter" no matter what you need a filter. Has nothing to do with your pipes getting hot though. I wouldn't worry about the pipes getting hot to quick unless shees throwing out some fluid.

  12. Did you try the wire swap? Check the caps to make sure their on good, plug caps, twist them on good.

  14. I was wondering if maybe you could be a little rich with your mods, I wouldn't think it would be that rich. I cant remember but if you have a lid on or k&n lid, take it off and try running it. That will lean it out a little and see if that helps.

  17. When did you last clean or put new jets in and did you put in new or clean the pilots? They clog very, very easily. Your stock pilots are fine, if they are clean. And just for the hell of it, you didn't by chance mix different types of oil in the same tank of gas? Just throwing out there! What about switching plug wires to narrow it down a little more, determine whether or not its electrical? What you think magz?
  18. That does look good! if thats the route you want go. Once you run pods there's no going back, mud or no mud. :thumbsup:
  19. Make sure your choke tube is in place, "tube running from carb to carb" make sure you got plug wire back on good. And if that doesn't do it clean your carbs/jets.

  22. That screw&clamp only holds the cap from vibrating loose, I think you would have noticed the difference in how she was running if that cap backedoff much. It would have been ideing higher and not running near as good as before. Doesn't sound like any kind of lean condition, with what happened, but I would still bump up on your mains.
