  1. Hows the shifting mode? thats mainly what I would like to change on my truck. I hate the way they slide into 2nd gear feels like it shifts twice and they all feel the same in the 1/2 tons. BTW that is 1 badass mustang you have there, dig the front end and with the hood pins and wheels Old School all the way!
  2. Make sure you have the slides in right, could have mixed up, cutouts to the rear. Make sure the slides are in sink and if that fails you will need to take carbs off and check the jets again for obstruction. Also did you disconnect all the wirering for the tors?

  4. I talked to Jeff at FAST yesterday, what a hell of a nice guy! had a good conversation on the shifting problems I'v been having and think maybe we narrowed it down. I was ready to buy the whole shittin kabootle but Jeff told me what he thought it might be and not the multiple parts I was ready to buy. He could make a lot of extra money if he wanted but isn't that kinda guy, we are very lucky to have sponsors like him. I'll be shopping his store from now on, Thanks Jeff!

  7. Sounds like stock carbs, I'v never heard of that happening and I can't remember exactly how those look, surely a way to fix.
  8. That is a nice truck wacko, you must have gotten a lemon but it does help if the dealer puts the fluids in it. Its an 03 Silverado 1/2 ton 5.3 with AEM Brute Force cold air intake and flomasters. I tried the SuperChips programmer but it didn't work so good either, thought it fucked up my truck. I sent it back, wasn't worth chancing.

  14. You have pretty much sold me on the overide tranny, whenever I get as far as tearing into the bottom end that will be a must. Thanks for the info Dave!

  18. I dig the looks of the new tundra but I heard they were having a lot of problems with them. Im kinda suprised by that.
  19. Debating on wether or not to get aftermarket shifter, don't know if it would work any better or not.
  20. NYUK'S one of the most trust worthy guys on here so if your wanting a set of used t5s I'd go with em, not to often you find t5s that cheap.
  21. 30 pilot is kinda big but if thats what you had in it before that will work. You sure you didn't knock off some dirt into your carbs when pulling pods or replacing them, over oil pods?

  23. Thought he may have been looking specifically for the shift pro kit, wasn't sure if fast had the exact same stopper bearing roller. Actually I was wondering the same thing cause I'd much rather use one of our sponsors.
  24. Yea thats a good deal, and I also got the 15* really helps support them but you gotta be careful resting them on the frame without some kinda cusion. It rubbed holes in both of my outerwears in a days ride, brand new! so I ran a strip of adhesive weather stripping on the frame. there were no burs or anything rough, but just enough movement to cause it.
