The ONLY way to adjust the arrows on top of the case is from under the clutch cover, you have to take the clutch cover off to access the clutch adjuster.

I am curious how much squish you ended up with, thats one of the most important #'s you should know on your motor. I have the same set-up as you except with 22cc. domes and 150 psi. @ 4800'. My squish is .040.

I think you will be ALOT happer with an agressive trail port given your riding style, cubs are better suited for drag racing. Do a search on them, theres a crap load of info. on here.
Tell him to leave the bottle on and spray the hell outta it, he might win maybe two or three races but after the third you will take him cause his motor will be toast.
I am doing the exact same thing, my parts will be in from jjanda tomorrow, I am going to use .120 wall x 1 3/8 round chromoly tubing. You will be alright using .095 wall if you go with the rectangular tubing. Chromoly is some tough shit.
