Anyone out there would like to trade some dual 28 or 30mm carbs for what I got? Let me know. Got a K&N for it as well as thumb cable and twist throttle 2needles, pilots, mains, assorted sizes.

I was sort of thinking that after a few more rides. What about the fuel octane, so far all the guys told me has been OK just don't want to thrash this motor.

2006 .20 over, recreational port, coolhead 19cc dome @ sea level compression 185 per cylinder. The guy that did my porting told me to run +7 timing and also said that this would work on AvGas. Right now I have AvGas in the tank and using BeNol at 40:1 timing set to +4, When I accelerate it runs good but when I let of the throttle and keep it there it begins to surge and cut out, once I gas it again or shift to a higher gear it goes away. I have boyesen rad valves, stock carbs,toomey t-5, 340 main, 32.5 pilot, 1.0 turns out, needle in middle clip. Is this jetting related or do I need higher octane gas. I have 21cc domes I can put on that puts me at about 160psi. I mostly ride long trails where I can run wide open 50% of the time. What do you think? suggestions.

Yeah if you are rich on the main it will be boggy at WOT and seem like it is out of fuel but you really have too much fuel. I am running the single 35 PWK still tuning it but I am down to a 185 main and am running good with plenty of power and similiar mods as you.

Start with a 280 main and work up or down from there doing plug chops.Leave your other settings the same as they are now. FMF suggests a 260 main on their site. If you don't know what the chop is then do a search and you will get more info than you will ever need.

Well here is the latest, Got the toomeys on waiting on the needle and jets for the PWK single. I put in 19cc domes got a TDR port and when I checked the compression I got 125 for both cylinders. A little low I think, The cylinders still had the crosshatch pattern on them. Is it necessary for this to wear down before it is broken in? Maybe I just got a bad compession gauge because it is harder to kick over than ever before. What do you think?

Have used it in my wife's all stock banshee and the plugs look perfect, no fouling very little smoke once warmed up. Compression is 120 psi per cylinder and it is an '06. We ride regular. I think it's a great oil and good price too. I also believe that exxon no longer makes it

Cool will set it at 11mm. Also got some 19cc domes on the way. Spoke to my porter and said the porting lowers the compression. I am getting 125psi right now with .20 over and 21cc domes. make sense?

What is the best way to set the floats and what measurement? I got 16mm from keihin website.

They are t5's. also I have a DEK needle in my PWK 35 not a CEL as stated before. Is this alright for my setup?

Got some toomey's on the way. After speaking with the guy who did the port that's what he recommends.

Thanks for the input. I am still messing with the jetting on it. My plugs are wet and black. When I rev it with the filter off it blows some fuel back out the carb? Maybe reed trouble.

Hey all currently FMF fatty graydon 2 into 1 with 35mm PWK 170main, 45 pilot, cel 1 notch leaner runs alright. Got a recreational port from TDR and was looking to get Toomey or CPI. Looking for input on which pipe maybe better. 21cc coolhead, sea level hot all year round trail riding and occasional drag race. Let me know.

Just got my cylinders back from TDR in Punta Gorda, Fl. Got the recreational port Got them on with a coolhead 21cc domes, boyesen rad valves, fatty pipes and silencers, stock carbs, 2 uni pods, forged WSM pistons. Was looking for jetting advice. Got 30 pilots, 330 mains, needle in the middle slot. I can't contact the shop I got it ported at until the 19th of Feb. And wanted to get her running. She is a little boggy on take of and doesn't really come alive until half throttle. I had your same setup at sea level and ran a 290 main and the plug chop was dead on. 25 pilot 1.75 turns out needle 3rd slot. -

Yeah got up there in sixth gear. It feels strong. I am going riding this weekend. Gonna do another chop once I get there to be sure. Plugs get black at idle. -
Hello all just gonna run this through you guys but I think I finally got it. Been fiddleing with this for a while whenever I had time. 2006 fmf fatties powercore 2 dual unipods due to no airbox when I bought it. right now I have 25 pilot 1.5 turns out, 290 main neddle middle clip. It runs crisper than ever and actually pulls on my arms when I open the throttle. Did a plug chop with 300 main and was a little dark so went to a 290. It has a slight skip right around third gear with the throttle just cracked to cruise around on (my street is a little busy when I did this so had to slow down a little. I live in florida sea level( if not below) hot as hell high humidity. 32:1 premix. Am I about average for my conditions. Mostly trail riding around here. rest of bike is stock.
